Absolutely necessary for a diabetic or someone with low blood sugar. They are large but you chew them. Often it does take a couple to feel better. These should be in your purse, pocket, bedside and car. Oh, yes, they are tasty. If a bit expensive.

Helpful to control your blood sugar

No one wants low BG readings as a diabetic. This small cylinder is perfect for times when we’re out (eg at the gym, walking) and cannot get to the refrigerator for juice or have a spoonful of peanut butter. Sure, Smarties and Necco Wafers candy can also do the trick, but this product is in a container that won’t get yucky being carried around in my pocket. The tablets are also a reliable way to measure the amount of glucose needed at the time of a low blood glucose moment.

I've been diabetic for 30 years now and these certainly are glucose tablets that help with low blood sugar. They don't have a strong chalky taste like some do and the tastes are not bad.
