Great little radio...
Works great... plenty loud to set up for family at beach or any gathering... pleased... solar honestly doesn't do much but I've had 14-15 hours of radio time and still had 50% batt life... worth the money

Really like this unit
I like its size while at first, I thought it was going to be larger. I was actually looking for a small boom box type radio. Turns out I like the size very much. About 6.5" by 2" by 3". While the weather and alternate charging extras were the reason I chose it. It works good over blue tooth which is nice because it is also a speaker. I like that it has a solar charger, and the battery lasts a long time. It has a manual hand crank charger too but so far, I haven't had to use it. The interface is a little hard to get used to at the first. Just some small buttons at the bottom. Once you learn them it is pretty simple to operate.I would buy again; in fact, I purchased a second.

Fits our needs for a Bluetooth, Radio, weather radio for the patio.
This fit our needs for a Patio Radio with multiple functionality. We use the Bluetooth to connect to our iphones/ipads to listen to music, AM/FM Digital tuner, weather band, etc. Sound is adequate. We liked the waterproofing to protect it from the occasional forgetfulness and leaving it outside in case it rains. The radio isn't prefect at anything, but does multiple things well. Im happy with my purchase. One negative, the USB cable included with the radio for charging is extremely cheap. It doesn't allow the radio to charge without a lot of manipulation. I threw it out and used a higher quality cable for charging, which took care of any issues I had charging the radios batteries. Do not rely on the solar panels to charge the radio you'll never get 100% charge out of them.

Not at all what I was expecting: who designs these things anyway?
Amazon just dropped off the package a few hours ago. I was excited to see what I had bought!Disclaimer: I do own another crank AM/FM radio/flashlight as well as a few 'water resistant' Bluetooth speakers. This little unit tries to combine the functions while adding Solar as a potential source of energy to help make its use last longer between cranks and/or charging by USBC.The unit arrived with %65 charge so it could be played with/used right out of the box. Coming in a bit larger than a Anker BT speaker I own (and a bit heavier) it appears well built and protected from water&dust.I live in a medium metro area with lots of FM&AM stations so once I got it turned on, I went to load up the memories with the available stations. Here's where I had my first stumble and had to get the manual out to see how to get it to auto-scan available stations. A bit strange but I got it started and waited for it to scan the FM band. Here's where the 2nd stumble came.It would appear that you can only INCREMENT the memory being tuned (by pressing the PLAY button) and it won't display the FREQUENCY of the memory until after a short delay when it tunes in that memory and starts playing it. The -/+ buttons (if just 'tapped' or pressed quickly) will decrease or increase the frequency by 100Khz (on FM). This has got to be the most befuddling way of tuning or cycling through memory channels on a radio I've ever come across!Sound? It can provide a fair amount of sound. Keep in mind that this is not a Bose or AltecLansing but rather a inexpensive radio/speaker/flashlight. However it should be noted that this a MONO speaker. Users can easily verify this by both VISUAL (front left under the grill a small driver can be seen, however front right there is NOTHING!!) and by placing both (front left and front right) up to your ear and LISTENING. Some lower frequency sound can be heard out the air vents in the left rear of the device. While the ~1.5" driver puts out more sound and is better quality then the internal speakers of my iPhone or iPad and will work in a pinch the fidelity is nothing to write home about. The flashlight and 'reading lamp' provide a decent amount of light.I have a trip planned for next week that I'll be bringing it along on. I'm planning on charging the battery to %99 (it won't display %100) before the trip. I've been listening to the FM radio for about an hour now at medium/low volume (#13 on the display) and the indicator has gone from 65 (when I started) to 64. I'm thinking that the battery life might be pretty good. The plan here is to use it outdoors around the camp and when not in use simply leave it on the table.I have a MONO Bluetooth speaker that I paid about the same price for that may have a larger driver (and can be DUNKED/SUBMERGED in water!!) however it does not have a radio, flashlight/reading light or solar/crank charging and I think the mAH of its internal battery is less than this device. This DOES sound better than my other very old crank only radio/flashlight.7/5/2023 Update:On/after a trip I left it on to the point that it drained the battery completely. No problem as it has a Solar panel and a hand crank for charging right? WRONG.Being lazy (like most of us) I decided against the hand crank and just left the radio where the solar panel would get sun most of the day and mostly forgot about it for a FEW MONTHS.While thinking that the radio was surely charged and ready-2-go I pulled it out on a recent trip, set to FM and set it to go find stations, which it started to do for about 30sec and then SHUT OFF. It would appear that the +2months of solar exposure was enough to enable the flash light and reading light but NOT ENOUGH to actually power the radio!Ahh but (still being lazy here) there still is USBC charge port right? Well err - not exactly. It MIGHT BE a USBC connector but that is NOT a USBC charge port as none of my USBC smart chargers would/could charge this device at all. I was forced to use a 'dumb' 5V supply with a USBC connector to fully charge this device.IMHO: a complete FAILURE as a "solar powered radio" but can work (for a while) as a awkward/large/heavy "solar powered flash/reading light".Next time I run the battery down to "0" I'll see if the hand crank is at all useful but at present I don't have very high expectations that it would power anything more than the lights.

Very small radio
Bluetooth is good. Can only change frequency .1 at a time. Volume is push button and wait. Sounds like only one speaker working, but sounds ok. Use it at work at low volume anyway. Like features.

I love this radio
I bought this radio for hurricane season in Florida. It works amazingly! It’s about the same size as a modern iPhone, but just a little thicker, and the reception is amazing. You can use the hand crank to power it, or you can set it out in the sun for solar power. The sound quality is really good, and it’s easy to figure out how to operate, even without reading the instructions. I do plan on reading the Instructions eventually, but my initial thoughts are it is definitely worth the small amount of money.

Very good quality for a low price!
I just love this portable radio, it is small but packed with a lot of power! It holds a charge for a very long time! I can charge it on an power outlet, solar charge or with the handcrank. The AM/FM reception is excellent, so is the sound and volume.I can also connect it to my phone via Bluetooth and I can charge my phone with it. This radio is excellent for hurricane season and every day use. I am so happy with my purchase!!

Waterproof Radio
UPDATE3: I read some of the 1/5 comments and there were alot that said radio didn't pick up stations. I live near a big city. I had no problem getting at least 30 different stations. Most came through clear. Some people stated that the radio only lasted a month or 2 and won't recharge. Mine is still new so I'll update after 30 days to see if my unit is still working and charging etc. The other thing, people mentioned is radio got wet and won't work anymore. Although it's weather proof and I take it out kayaking a few times, I still try to protect it from getting wet. And if some water from my paddles drips on it, I quickly dry it off. Again, time will be the real test. See you in a month.UPDATE2: This radio is a powerful and comes with a punch. The battery life is amazing!! I was still playing it up to 9 hours and it was still going. Wow!UPDATE: So my first time out kayaking and this radio is awesome! It picked up radio stations no problem, plenty of volume, It has alot of punch and bells and whistles for a compact little guy. You still have to take proper care of it. I was out for over 2 hours, and there was still plenty of battery life left. Well worth the price I think. Just love it!I bought this for when I go kayaking. It's waterproof and has different types of extras I like. compass, solar panel, hand crank. Keep in mind, I haven't taken it out kayaking yet. It works at home. Well see how well it picks up the stations with it's tiny antenna out on the city lake close to towers. It also has an ability to hook up blue tooth with your phone, and some type of sim card chip that you can preload your own music to plug into this little unit. I gave it a 5 star for durability, battery life etc however, this really has yet to be tested. I'll proved an update. Also it has very specific instructions on how to care for this unit including the battery. It's important to read the booklet, they cover alot of stuff besides what all the buttons do and how to set up your Fm radio stations etc. It's nice and small which is great to bring on board kayaking. I also bought an oversized phone case which this could easily fit into. If it's everything they say about this unit then it's worth the price. Will update in a month.

Great Work Radio
2nd time I've bought this radio (a different brand this time there's like 4 brands all selling the same radio.)I use this as my jobsite radio, its compact, loud, long lasting, and picks up stations fine. Its waterproof (at least against rain) and and rugged, it takes getting run over by bobcat to break it.The solar panel and hand crank basically don't work, do NOT buy this as a genuine survival radio. But for light camping or a worksite radio, and as a backup battery to charge your phone it's perfect!Other stuff - the bluetooth, LEDs, and SOS alarm button work; I've never tested the emergency/weather channels

Very pleased with this radio
It performs as described. I am very happy and have been using it outside in the yard actually. Sound and reception is good. Have not needed to use the crank feature yet if the electricity was not available to charge it.
