I have tried several types of bottles for bottle calves and this is by far the best. The design of the teat and the air valve are the things that set it apart from the rest. The teat can be removed from the ring to be cleaned, but it is usually not necessary as you can run water into it from the back and "milk" it and it will rinse it clean. The material used to construct it is a higher grade that your run of the mill bottle. The valve prevents calf saliva from being sucked into the bottle which makes clean up easier as well, as saliva tends to start to digest the milk and stick to the sides of traditional bottles. The handle is another benefit that makes it easy to hold the bottle, even with stronger calves that will butt the bottle during nursing. My two young daughters 6 and 9 will only use these bottles for their calves as they are so much easier to feed with. It is worth mentioning that you have to make sure the teat is positioned correctly with the TOP directed towards the top of the calves mouth (it is labeled and explained in the instructions). When the ring is tightened, the valve tends to be at the top of the bottle near the handle. We turn the teat a half turn so that the handle is to the side when nursing the calf. Then, the valve doesn't drip milk into the calves nostril. It works fine that way, but I wish the valve was on the bottom. That is the only draw back to the design of the bottle, but it is minor compared to the quality and design of the rest. The ad says, that "calves love 'em". We have found this to be true! Another bottle calf arrived earilier this week and I was short one peach teat (as it was on order) for a bit so I had one traditional bottle and 4 peach teats, and the calves ALWAYS chose the peach teat bottles first even though they had used both kinds.

First time bottle calf for me . I have tried various "square bottles" with the large red nipple and i had difficulty getting the calf to take to the bottleand i even sliced the opening bigger on the nipple to get better flow, no remedy. Anyways, a frustrating 3 days i fought with the square bottle. Saw this on Amazon, read great reviews and tried this bottle with smaller nipple. All I can say is wow!! From a 3 day old calf struggling to use the red nipple on square bottle then getting the new peach teats bottle/nipple on day 4 and using it.....WOW!! The calf downed the milk replacer in short order with the mew Peach Teats bottle/nipple made me realllly happy and relieved!! Would definitely recommend to anyone that has cattle to keep one or two at their house just in case...so easy to use!!! Only comment is the vent hole needs to be pointed down when feeding the calf , it slightly leaks, but not really a issue. One last comment. This was no Amazon Prime shipping for this item...but the item came quickly like it was Prime shipping!!! Awesome quick ship time

Easy to hang on to can feed 4 calves at a time. Nipple made to be like cows teat. Calves take to this bottle real easy.

the bottles are great, but I ordered 3 and only received 1. Had no way to contact seller but I did amazon. Still haven't received other bottles or refund.

This is the ONLY bottle we use when bottle feeding our calves. We have a ranch and raise purebred show cattle and breeding stock - our calves are valuable and we found Peach Teat bottles quite a while ago and are SO much better than any other bottle/nipple on the market. With the handheld bottle its easier for anyone to feed and the teat is more like momma - doesn't deflate the bottle, lets air in as the calf drinks. Much easier and healthier for the calves.

This bottle is easy to hold and does not suck in like the other bottles and the nipple makes it easier to start baby calves on the bottle.

We raise several Mini Jersey calves a year at NWHomestead.com. Our old bottles did the job but the nipples were cracked and needed to be replaced. I upgraded to these bottles and love them. North Woods Homestead Mini Jerseys endorses Peach Teat Bottles! They worked for all our calf sizes.

Loved the handle but the nipple was way too stiff.

I ordered this item because it had a handle and supposedly larger opening to allow for easier cleaning. Had neither.
