Wohler 7649 Handy Viper M with Push Head, 50'

This is the exact same tool used by the chimney cleaning people. Very easy to use . Save yourself some money and clean your own chimney. This will pay for itself on the second time you use it.

We've used this twice now to clean our 32 ft six inch double wall stove pipe. The rod is stiff so don't expect to go through sharp corners with it. We navigate a gentle 90 deg turn to get from the stove to vertical with the pipe with no issues. Our pipe is long enough that after I get past 10 ft or so I can't work the brush up and down because the bristles are too stiff to reverse with the rod flexing just a little in the pipe. I just continue to the top and then backdown the entire pipe and repeat.The reason I gave four stars inside of five is that rerolling/ spooling and cleaning the pipe is awkward and is best done with two people: one on the spool and one guiding the rod out of or into the pipe.The rod is only warranted for 1 year and is considered a consumable by the manufacturer. For practical matters this must be a provision for high volume professional cleaners. If you're a home owner and don't abuse it, it should last as long as you need it. Ours shows no wear to speak of after two uses.

We spent years using the old chimney brush that took forever and involved climbing on the roof and taking apart our stovepipe. Never again!! This thing is so easy and quick we will never go back!!!

Did a great job, in two winter season it pays for itself. Took half an hour to sweep, was easy to use.

This is the same brush used by professional sweeps. Most of them purchase these through their suppliers and pay about another $100 for the exact same brush.Of note, if your buying this and aren't a professional you're not doing yourself any favors because a professional knows what they're looking for more than just ramming a brush.CSIA.ORG to find a sweep near you or to attend sweep school.

Everything looks great accept there is no push head. Do I have to return and order a new one? Thanks

This does not come with a brush but has threaded end and adapter to use star. I had the larger blue viper but over heated the stored coiled rod (don’t do this). This unit is easier to handle but the belt clip is unnecessary for how I implement it.

This product will pay for itself in a couple years.
