I wanted to hide ALL the cables, cords and wires along the floor in the room- and the only way I thought it would look perfect was to replace the wooden base with cable raceways. One issue I found is that most come in short lengths, so I would have a lot of joints/ seams that would be visible. Not so with these- the 4 foot lengths were perfect. The next issue was that I wanted to make it match the wood base I was replacing. So I painted the raceway covers to match the wood. I used 2 colors to simulate wood grain a little bit. I noticed before I began installation that the covers have to snap around the base plate, so I used paint stir sticks as a spacer for the base plate to give it enough room to snap on (see photo). As far as how many cables can go into these raceways- as you can see by the photos I have a HDMI cable, a power cord, a coaxial cable and a speaker wire bundle with 5 speaker wires an a subwoofer cable in it. I think the installation turned out super sanitary, if you didn't know the base was painted plastic you wouldn't even notice it, there are no visible wires, and no visible seams. I thought it might be helpful to post this along with pictures in case anyone else might be considering replacing their base with cable raceways- these work excellent for that application, and I'm very satisfied with the results. Very durable and easy to use.

When we decided to wall-mount our TV, I knew I didn't want the wires exposed. It looks messy and every add-on device you hook up to it adds to the clutter. So, we initially bought the cord hiders you get at Wal-mart. They cost less, and I figured they couldn't be that different. Boy, was I wrong. That one stuck to the wall with ineffective glue strips and only held a couple cords. Within six months, the thing was dangling, barely hanging on, and didn't look any better than if we'd just let the cords hang out.Then we decided to get this Echogead Cable Concealer, and what a difference it's made! This one screws into the wall with very good drywall mollies and sturdy screws, which are included in the kit. Easy to cut to length, the back plate and front plate snap together easily as well, and hold more cords than cheaper concealers. Looks great on my wall as-is, but would also look great painted to match. Forget the other cheaper versions, this one is the winner.

This cord cover is well made and well designed. After installation, I have not painted it yet, but it claims to be paintable, which is a plus. I purchased this model for two reasons: lots of room for cords (could probably accommodate 10 HDMI cables) and it is a 48" long continuous cover - not multiple pieces that need to be cobbled together. Since the cover is designed to be mounted with screws, you do have to commit to making some holes in the wall. Other covers are designed to be attached with double-stick tape. Once mounted, it is VERY secure. The two-piece design which consists of a base plate screwed to the wall and the cover that clips onto the edges of the base is quite good. There is practically zero gap between the cover and the wall when it is snapped onto the base. So, why not 5 stars? Well, the base comes with the mounting holes pre-drilled - there are 6 pairs of holes along the 48" base. But the kit only comes with 6 screws. There is no way to securely fasten the full 48" base plate to the wall with just 6 screws. You need 8 minimum, and preferably 10. So I will need to purchase more screws and plastic anchors myself to properly complete the installation. Still a good product that I can recommend.

I can't stress enough how much I love this product. I truly feel it's the best wire hider you can buy. The rounded edges make it a little more seamless with your wall compared to square wire tracks that many people use. I also like that it can be cut easily to fit your needs. As you can see in my pictures, I even cut a 90 degree angle to accomodate my unique situation and it turned out great. Way better than ugly wires hanging from under the TV! While these can be screwed into the wall, I prefer Command Velcro strips, as I have accidentally ripped the screws out of the wall when trying to remove the cover. I also like that you can paint these to match your wall, I really think this goes a long way to making the product blend in. Would recommend for anyone who wants to hide their TV wires but isn't brave enough to cut into their drywall.

I don't often write reviews, but this product really impressed me in both quality and ease of use. Dead simple to cut and install, readily accepted our well paint, and looks fantastic on the wall. I had to point it out to my wife, who knew I was installing it, as it just blended right into the wall.I'd chosen an Echogear TV mount for our new TV, and I'm again impressed with the thoughtfulness put into their instructions and products. I often say I'm as obsessive with perfection as I am unskilled in installations such as this, but following the straightforward instructions with both products has resulted in a professional-looking setup at the fraction of the cost. I'll continue looking to Echogear for my A/V needs going forward.

This fit perfects between the molding in our living room! Other than the fact that it looks nice, it also protects the wires from our cats chewing and playing with them. So easy to mount and easy to snap the cover over!

The included hardware is useless. The anchors would not even begin to "bite" into the drywall and even if they could, the included screws are undersized; so throw all that stuff away and purchase metal fasteners-- then you'll be able to properly affix the strip to the wall. It is wide enough to nicely accommodate 4-5 cords; the cover snaps into place easily and can be removed easily. If it had decent hardware I'd give it a 5.I should point out that the manf was quite willing to provide a full refund; not necessary; I accepted a small refund for the expense of purchasing the anchors/ screws. So great customer relations!

Set this up today and it was really a piece of cake to set up and I managed to fit a lot of cable through it. Cons would be it's pricey for what you get and Echogear could do with including a few more screws I had to go get more but overall great quality product.

This was perfect for loosing all the tv leads when fitted to the wall

This is a very effective tool for hiding cords and cables. It's pricey but is very easy to install, is easily paintable, and looks good on the wall. I would buy it again.

Jedoch war die Verpackung fast doppelt so lange wie der Kabelkanal selbst.Da hätte man schon etwas einsparen können.Der Kanal selbst ist genau wie beschrieben, schön flach und sehr stabil.Ich habe ihn etwas zweckendfremdet, da mein Kind immer im Bett an den Kabeln von Licht und Babyphone rumgespielt hat. Habe den Kanal mit Kabelbindern am Gitterbett befestigt und die Kabel darin versteckt.Dafür tut er auf jeden Fall auch gut.
