I add a teaspoon to my herbal tea, as I would if I was using real sugar, I found I had to add two to get the same sweetness. Regardless of the amount, BochaSweet, tastes like real sugar, looks like real sugar, and almost feels like real sugar, it has more dampness to it. Absolutely delicious tasting. I am not pre-diabetic, but I do monitor my blood sugar based on foods I eat to ensure I don't become pre-diabetic. I tested my blood sugar before, half hour interval, and one hour, there was no spike. I also read that it was minimally processed, that is a plus. Great alternative to sugar, and high fructose corn syrup for the health conscience, and a fantastic alternative to aspartame, stevia, and other tongue curling, bitter, after tasting substitutes for those who can not eat sugar. I hope in a few years they don't say it is not good for you like they did with agave, another one of my favorites. Two thumbs up for BochaSweet, the only down side is that it is so pricey. It tastes exactly as white sugar. As far as I know it doesn't come in the brown sugar flavor.
