High price, low quality product!
I will start out by saying that the necklace arrived quickly and the seller's responses to me was prompt and professional. With that said, this is NOT a $109.00 necklace! This is a piece of pretty costume jewelry and it is very cheaply made. While there is some lovely detail on the front of the necklace, the materials used to make it are extremely cheap and flimsy. The faux pearl beading around the back of the neckline looks like cheap plastic that you would find on a kid's play necklace. The claps at the back are extremely low quality with a very thin, bendy medal connector; definitely not made to hold up for many uses. The overall package does not indicate that there are actual freshwater pearls in the jewelry piece; only that it is nickel/lead free. Had I paid $30 for this necklace, I would have been happy with the purchase. However, seeing that I paid $109 a cheaply made necklace, it certainly does not meet my expectations on quality. Also, please note: the seller has very a very specific return policy in place (please read the fine print) as they do not offer returns on their products. They actually state in their return policy that their jewelry is only intended for one time usage (which would explain the low quality materials). After a few emails back and fourth of my dissatisfaction with the product, the seller conceded to allow the return if I paid for postage and a 30% restocking fee. I don't feel right paying $45+ dollars for shipping and restocking fees so that they can oversell this someone else. The seller should really consider lowering the price of the product.
