This is not the first smart lock I have installed and this one should be very easy since you don't have to change the mortise and lock body. But still, I spent many hours installing this because my door is very thick (6 cm) and the spindle provided inside the kit is only 5.5 cm long and I can't use the existing spindle as it is too long (12 cm). I have to find a spare spindle with 10 cm length from hardware store to make sure that it reaches both sides of the door so we can open it safely without slipping. If you don't know what a spindle is, then this product is not for you :) Also note that you still have to drill and make hole to your door to install this. Make sure the hole you make is big enough to run the cable through. If you follow the provided template, you should be okay. The rest is quite straight forward. Connecting to a network and setting up users might take some learning. I don't like the loud guidance voice when programming the smart lock as my neighbours can hear it, but I guess you can just do it very quickly when you already know how to do it. I recommend you practice the programming and set the users even before you install the smart lock on the door. The program settings and users list will remain even if you remove the battery for a few hours.

I have been using this smart door for 2 weeks now and unlocking door is not working most if the time. Sometimes i have to try 10 times before i can unlock the door using fingerprint or card or pin. Most of the time system gets locked and i have to wait until i can access again. Definitely not recommended.
