One of the prongs had broken off the little latch on our roll front Brabantia bread box and it no longer stayed shut. This works perfectly as a replacement.You can’t just pry the old piece out and pop the new one in, however. You need to use a tiny Phillips head screwdriver to take the screws out behind the black handle that says Brabantia on it, and remove the whole handle. Then swap out the latch and put the handle back on. FYI, the screwdriver size that worked best for me was a 00 size Phillips. Size 000 worked kind of ok, but it slipped a little.

My Brabantia bread box latch has been broken for years. Finally I got tired of it always being open and looked for a fix. I found these and since they weren’t very expensive, it was worth a try. It took several weeks to arrive, but I was in no rush considering the bread box had been broken for so long already. Easy to install and solved my issues! And I have several spares left over for if it breaks again in the future.
