Sweeter than other brands with no other additives
UPDATE: Still very happy with this brand. For those that complain about a bitter after taste, it may be because too much of the product was used. If you use too much, you seem to lose some of the sweetness and get the bitter. However if you use the right amount, not too much, no bitterness. I use this for all my sweetening needs, foods, drinks and sweets. Like some others, annoyed that the product now comes in a plastic jar instead of glass- and NO reduction in price. If the company switched to plastic, that should be reflected in the price. Otherwise, I'm still happy with the product. If you are looking to avoid processed sugar and avoid raising blood sugar, monk fruit it great. I initially balked at the price, very ridiculous. I have tried several other "pure" monk fruit (nothing else added) brands, and there were "ok" but not thrilled with them. This brand while more expensive, will last a long time. This brand is "sweeter" than the other monk fruit brands I have tried, so a little goes a long way. When this runs out, I will buy more. I just wish the price was lower.Update: I still love this monk fruit. I am now using it to make my own home made dark chocolate (cacao powder, cocoa butter, vanilla, salt, and monk fruit). If you love dark chocolate, but don't want all the sugar this is great. I have also used it for making other vegan treats. Very happy with my purchase.

Not that sweet - bitter aftertaste - hard to dissolve
I'm not impressed. This is advertised as no bitter aftertaste. Maybe I'm sensitive, but this absolutely tastes bitter to me. Plus, it doesn't sweeten that well. One tiny scoop just doesn't sweeten my coffee much, and imparts that bitter flavor. Also, it's quite hard to dissolve. I tried another reviewer's suggestion of pre-dissolving the substance into water to make drops and I found that even more disappointing. So many drops were needed before I could taste any sweetness at all - and again...bitter. This item is so expensive and I feel I got hosed! I will not repurchase.

Great substitute for low carb diets
This Defiantly has an after taste, but what can you expect, its not real sugar. Great substitute for low carb diets! That being said, I have no idea why the price is SOOOO high. The jar is 1/2 empty, I suppose it condenses.

Does Not Dissolve Well but tastes Good once it does. Keep stirring. Too much leaves aftertaste.
If you don't use too much, there's no after taste. Otherwise, there's a slight taste that lingers. I like how sweet it is and that it comes with a tiny spoon which means sweetener will last you a long time so you're getting your money's worth. However, the powder does not dissolve well in drinks including hot water. That's my biggest complaint about this brand. Also can't read directions if there are any because the label is dark green with red writing all over it. The ingredients are pure Monk Fruit & Magrosides V50% (whatever that is). No stomach upset & I'm sensitive.

After taste very much noticeable.
The aftertaste is awful. Especially noticeable in coffee/tea. It hinders the taste completely.

I switched from Pure Monk to this brand. This is way better! No chemical or funny smells at all.
This is an excellent Monk fruit sweetener! It is just powdered Monk fruit and nothing else. And, there is no chemical smell like what I started experiencing with the Pure Monk brand. Because it is extra concentrated, I use half as much of what I used to use— which is about 1 1/2 of their tiny spoons in 16 ounces of half coffee and half unsweetened coconut milk. It tastes great which means I can have or make sweet things and still remain on basically a no sugar diet And I don’t cheat! Which is excellent! For baking or cooking, I start off with way less and mix it into the liquid. I make sure it’s thoroughly mixed in before I add the liquid to the rest of the ingredients. Personally I have found that I don’t need to go above 1 1/2 of their tiny spoons for anything I’ve made so far. This has really changed and improved my diet! We make a coconut poundcake, and the Monk fruit sweetener makes up for the sugar I can’t have. I’m going to try making freezer jam soon using the Pomona pectin which does not need sugar. I will use Monk fruit sweetener instead. I expect it to turn out excellent as well! Have fun with this :-)

The ONLY Monk Fruit Sweetener Worth Purchasing
This is really the ONLY monk fruit sweetener that I would ever recommend. Most other monk fruit sweeteners are unfortunately mixed with other stuff, such as erythritol, dextrose, etc. What's worse is some of them don't list the ingredients under some kind of "proprietary secret" nonsense. But, if your digestive tract doesn't handle the -tol line of artificial sweeteners (e.g., painful gas cramps), then this unrevealed bit of knowledge can leave you disappointed in the product. Those that use dextrose, use it under the guise of a "bulking agent", but what they don't tell you is that it also has a high glycemic index - the very thing you DON'T want if you're paying a hefty price for a sweetener that won't spike your insulin. Then, you have those that are pure monk fruit, but are just bad tasting. I made the mistake of buying "Pure Monk" (see https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DMCMO7O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and it was so awful tasting, I threw away my $35 investment. Utter garbage. And that brings me back to this product. 100% pure, tastes great, no strange aftertaste. Costly? Yes! But, when 1/64 of a teaspoon equals one teaspoon of sugar, it should last me a full year or more.

Bitter and definitely NOT worth the money!
Update: still too bitter to use and still no response from the company. Why is my negative review so far down in the list?I’m sorry to say that I’m very disappointed in this product. It’s so bitter that’s its impossible to use. I had hoped to find something I could use on Whole30, but this is impossible to use. I can’t understsnd why anyone would give it 5 stars. The company won’t accept a return which is maddening because of the high cost. Dont purchase this or you’ll be putting it into the trash too!
