Great Addition to the Backyard Patio.
This gazebo was a great addition to my patio. It looks great and has lasted us through Michigan's Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring. We look forward to many more years of use. There are a few leaks, but I believe we misaligned a couple of roof panels. Once in place, there is no way to correct that without disassembly—it's not going to happen! We are very pleased to have added a fire pit that works well through early winter, with a ceiling fan that moves the heat around. When our order arrived in multiple boxes over the course of a few days, one box was missing. I contacted the seller, and they tracked it down as damaged in transit and sent a new box out the next day. They have very responsive and helpful customer service. If I were in the market, I would purchase from them again.

Great buy!!
If you enjoy playing Legos this is the thing for you. It was very enjoyable to put together. No words everything is in pictures and you just need to follow steps. Study your book and you're good to go. Everything arrived in time we had all the parts we needed nothing was scratched or dented. I am very happy with the quality and I feel like it was a good buy. I can't wait to hang some string lights and some ferns lol

Well engineered gazebo. Easy to follow instructions.
I like that all the parts to this gazebo were in the boxes and fit well together. I thought the instructions were easy to follow because they were step by step diagrams with some close-ups rather than rambling, wordy sentences. It is definitely a 2-3 person job and two ladders were of great value and necessary, especially when installing the roof panels. The roof panels are the most difficult part because the panels are flexible which makes it a challenge to feed into the side slots of the roof frames. The last panels were hardest to install because you have to work through the gaps of the roof that you are fitting the panels into. You get the hang of getting them into the frame slots after doing the first one or two but is was a tad difficult. Some may give up but we persevered! It took a week to get all the boxes, the heaviest box came last and required three calls to FedEx because it sat for 5 days at the local FedEx warehouse while they worked out the logistics of getting it to the house. (It's over 100 lbs and a not too happy driver delivered it by himself.) This box contains the roof panels and if dropped on a corner could bend them. Ours had been dropped and the packaging was compromised but luckily only the corner of one was crimped and I straightened it with a pair of pliers. All in all, it is sturdy, I am happy with it and I look forward to using it. I do think that you need some know-how in order to build it and certainly need two 6 foot step ladders, a handy friend, a screw gun and a little ingenuity to get it done.

Overall a Complex but Nicely Done Transaction
I am quite pleased. I must note that, as good as the product is, the seller (HiRomm) deserves all the credit. We placed our order for this gazebo on July 19. Availability was showing 6-8 weeks (out in October) which we understood and were okay with that time frame. They The seller under-promised and over-delivered! Unexpectedly, one, then a second and third box came in late July. Then another and another. One had damage which we photographed and reported. The seller acknowledged and promised to make good if anything damaged or missing. Then there was a 7- to 10-day void in shipments, one box was missing. I’m pretty sure these boxes were all coming from port of entry in Galveston. The seller arranged all the forwarding with FedEx. After a week passed with that box missing, the Seller shipped another to replace the missing box. It was ready to ship in about four days. We had to coordinate with seller and FedEx to work around our vacation time for this delivery. FedEx has the vacation hold feature if you have an account with them. Thankfully by August 20 the last box had arrived. I started contacting installers through A__e and Thumb__k. All of the installers were reluctant to commit given one box being open and damaged. I contacted the seller. The seller sent a very cohesive method of identifying and counting these parts and promised to ship immediately for anything missing or damaged. As soon as I could verify everything was present and accounted for in box 4/ 6, and that nothing was damaged, I was able to complete a contract with an installer. Now to the product and install: My installer knew right away the brand of the gazebo – SunJoy – so he said. He said SunJoy was the largest worldwide manufacturer. Yes the product is listed as by MELLCOM but we know how many brands are all the same point of origin in China, right? My installer had installed several of the exact same model of my 12’ x 16’ unit. The installer and his very experienced helper (his wife) drove 2.5 hours, arrived at 10:30 am, took a 2-hour lunch, and still were able to finish by 6:00 pm. Total install time was 6 hours, net of lunch. My wife and I could have done this, but without experience, taken twice as long. Fortunate for the install, nothing was missing out of the other five boxes. Nothing was damaged. The roof panels were amazingly well packaged. My installer was installing on a level 16’ x 16’ concrete pad. Fit up was perfect! Only a 6 ft stepladder and a battery operated hammer drill were necessary, with some metric sockets. I think they also had star driver heads for the drill. Anchoring was done with TapCons (it was a hammer drill). The cost was six (6) Benjamins! I was happy to not have to do it myself. All in all, this product, the install and HiRomm the seller made it all happen in an excellent and almost painless fashion.

Very Happy
Even though some of the boxes were delivered damaged all of the part were inside were good, but we did have to bend couple of corners for the roof panels back in to place. Putting up the frame was relatively easy. The roof panels were the hardest because the instructions were put the panels into place then screw it down. Don't do this it doesn't work. Start with the middle panels they are they are layered and has a screw on the out side then one of the inside the one on the outside sucked. We had to remove all the other panels and put these two panels on first. (This will make more since when you build it). It took two weeks to build because I am in Vegas it's been 100+ everyday. Some days my husband and I could only work on it for 2 or 3 hours (not everyday though). Plus the seller responded back to me very quickly, when I had the wrong information for a tracking number. Very good experience, and product.
