Stickiness questionable
Brought these for my tummy tuck scar, and they were smaller than I imagined. Cut one long ways since portions of the scar was thin and only stuck to the flat portion of my stomach. Didn't stick to the sides, had to use I.V tape to hold it down. They stretch fairly easy and seems not to stick once stretched. I made sure my skin was cleaned with not only alcohol but skin prep also. For the price they cost I expected a better product.

BEST OLD SCAR TREATMENT!!!
I had a lollipop breast reduction over a year ago. I had been using the scar away strips that had to be removed before bathing and/or working out which was annoying. I came across these and am SO GLAD I DID! I had been using the scar away strips for MONTHS. I did start to notice a change in my old scars. I purchased the embrace to give it a try to see if I would like them better. Boy am I glad I did. I purchased enough to last me a month and I must say it was a great decision. In most of the areas the scars are barely visible after using the embrace. I still have a few scar away strips so I will be using them but will DEFINITELY BE BUYING MORE OF THE EMBRACE IN THE FUTURE. They stayed on through daily showers (sometimes two a day) and during working out with no problems. They began to wrinkle which is to be expected but they stayed on for the ten days until I took them off and put on a new set. I was able to cut them to the size I needed with no problem. I highly recommend these!!!

They don’t stay on
I’m a huge fan of the Embrace for new scars and have had great results in the past.I bought this Embrace for old scars hoping it would work as well as the original, but these don’t even stay on for more than a day or two. One fell off with in an hour. Only 3 come in a 1 month supply, but if they fall off after 1-2 days then you’ll need 10 boxes to last a full month. They can only work if worn continuously for for a couple months, so falling off early is unacceptable.

Recommend with Warning
Update - I prefer the Embrace for old scars for ease of application and comfort on non-flat areas. Pro hack is to buy the largest size (XL 4.7”), cut in half or to size so product won’t crease, completely remove from backing, and then apply. Be very weary of overstretching, the silicon will win and your skin will blister. The embrace for old scars is more flexible and comfortable than the product for new scars which makes it my 1st choice.I recommend Embrace with some warning to users. Beware of over-stretching which will result in blisters. Also, I had no problem with these lasting 10 days but they do begin to lift so that by day 10 they can be removed so don’t expect the whole strip to stay attached the entire 10 days. I have an anchor scar from a breast lift. My doctor recommended and uses this brand, although not for breast scars (more for tummy tuck). I decided to try these anyway after watching the the manufacturer how to video on their website. Breasts are challenging because of the shape and gravitational pull after application. The new scar product medium size worked wonderfully on the vertical scar line (I had zero issues there) but over stretching to apply the new scar XL along the fold line scar resulted in the skin being pulled at the corner, eventual blistering, and premature lifting of the adhesive. Either don’t bother or try the old scar product which is much cheaper but remove it entirely from the backing before applying to prevent stretching of the silicon strip. Even with the old scar product I got a blister from the strip being overstretched, the only thing you can do to prevent this is remove it from the backing prior to application so it doesn’t apply at a stretched point.

These actually stay on!
This is the second brand of silicone scar sheets that I have tried. Previously I used the ScarAway sheets, and after using these for only a few days, I will be continuing to buy these instead. Although I haven't had time to notice results, I'm rating these 5 stars because they actually stay on! The previous scar sheets I used were more expensive, had to be removed when showering, and always came off in my bed while I was sleeping. These, however, STAY ON!!! You don't have to remove them when you shower, and they really do adhere completely. I have been using my current one for 4 days now, and I have taken 3 showers and a bath with no problems at all. They are also large enough for me that I can use one sheet for three applications (I have a roughly nickel-sized hypertrophic scar/keloid). I will come back to update with my results after I have used them for the recommended time (8 weeks). So far I am very happy that these seem to actually stay on!! They are also less bulky than ScarAway.

Doesn’t Stick Well, Buy The Tape & Save Your $$
Buy the silicone tape. You get a lot more of the same stuff for the money. Plus- the tape is tinted so it hides scars as they heal. This stuff is thick and shiny. It stayed on for 1.5- 2 days before becoming flappy and attracting fuzz and dog hair onto the sticky side. For the $35 cost, I got 6 bandages the size of a XL bandaid with directions to cut to fit. When you cut it, be sure to round the corners so they don’t peel up & catch on your clothes. I’ve had this product for 2 days and I’ve already gone through 4 of my 6 dressings due to lack of adhesion after moving, showering, even sleeping! I was sticking to the bedsheets. What an expensive joke!!! I just ordered the silicone tape. You get 1.6 yards of the stuff for $15. Hopefully that will stick better. Thank you Amazon for a great Prime return policy. These last 2 stickers are going back!
