Highly recommended! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Cheap, Great Functionality, Loud Background Hiss *by G***E on 12 February 2023* For the money this is an incredibly feature-filled and well-made little device. I like the encoder-based digital volume control and the USB-C connector is welcome (rather than Mini/Micro USB). It doesn't appear to have any obnoxious spoken paring/playback status reports with the bluetooth mode either, which is common on the cheap bluetooth boards. However there is a very loud background hiss (with all of the inputs). I tired a number of suitable high-quality power supplies within the claimed voltage range with no impact on this noise. This isn't audible when nothing is playing, because the amplifier appears to be automatically deactivated when the device is idle. However there is a short lag when audio stops before the amplifier is turned off, making it briefly very obvious. This noise *is* audible during quieter sections of music.
