BIG SMILE PAW Reflective Dog Leash for Small Dogs,Padded Handle (Black)

UPDATE: very unhappy, changed to 1 star. Have had this less than a month and the clasp is already sticking and does not close every time. My puppy got loose because of this defect and I was very lucky nothing happened to her!! So upset as I bought a second leash and now I am worried the same thing will happen..Perfect leash for my small corgi puppy, doesn’t weigh down on her and stands up to her occasional chewing! We got it in two different colors.

I tried out other leashes before I found this one. The bunchy ones don't work as you can't train your dog not to pull. The rope size ones are too heavy for medium to small size dogs. This one is just perfect. It is light weight and has the padded handle, it feels very comfortable, yet durable. Like I said in my title, i ordered a second one...

I live in the city on a fairly busy street. I was looking for a leash that had reflective material to increase my safety while walking the dog at night. My dog is 9 pounds and this is the perfect size. The only complaint I have is the loop where my hand goes through is a little uncomfortable. It is not to the point where I can't use the leash but my old leash was a little better in this area. The reflective stitching is great and really lights up nicely when a car is near us.

My dog is used to a bit shorter leash, so the length works well, and the leash material is flexible, lightweight, and soft. The leash is handsome with the light padding on the hand loop being easy on my wrist. I'd say the leash itself is a five-star, but the reflective stitching doesn't reflect whatever light source is nearby, therefore the drop in rating to average. I bought this leash with the expectation of the reflective stitching making my dog more visible at night. Too bad it doesn't work that way. I'm keeping the leash because of its comfort, but wouldn't buy it again.

I bought this leash for my 14 lb shih tzu because I've only used retractable leashes. After having several instances of near dog attacks, I want to be able to keep my dog closer to me (and more controlled) on a regular leash. I didn't know how this leash would work for me, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. It is my new favorite leash. It's easy to hook and has a comfortable, lightly padded 'hand loop' to hold. The reflectors are only on one side (and small), so it might not be the best for nighttime protection. Highly recommend for a simple and practical leash.

This leash is priced right, even if it wasn’t reflective. That being said the reflective detail is very minor. It’s just the stitching and only on one side. If you really want reflective I wouldn’t get this but I’d look as it as a small bonus to a plain leash.

Love this leash. Perfect length, comfy grip and it has gotten wet many times, and still does not hold an odor. Perfect for our long hikes.

Really nice leash. Works perfect for my 13# Pekingese. I have used it for my Great Dane in a pinch just around the yard. It held him, although he didn’t really try to go anywhere lol. I don’t think I’d use it for him on a regular basis, but if you prefer a thin leash, I think this would probably hold up nicely. I like that it’s padded.
