I ordered these because I needed them to replace the original. I wanted them to have the chevrolet bowtie like the picture showed to match the original. When I got them I was a little disappointed that they said GM instead of the bowtie like the picture. They did install easy and work good so I guess I'll just have to live with it.

Great OEM style lock
I must have had a locksmith make a key off of a key code which never worked correctly in the ignition lock. Grandma was unable to start the car. After switching out to this new lock it works like butter and she's able to turn the car on and drive away and never look back.

Double cut keys only worked one way. Needed to mark with a notch to use good side.
LIKED: The price was an aftermarket industry standard one. Neither high or very low. Shipping to me was two days. (Thank you)DISLIKED: After installation, I noticed that in the doors, the 2 keys worked on both cut sides. (Doors have less pins) BUT the ignition lock only worked with both keys on a single cut side. (This was for a neighbor and a freeby. He just had me mark the keys so he didn't have to always turn the key over) I was loathe to remove, replace old ones and go through all the return crap , just to tear it all apart again to reinstall the 3 replacement locks.The three locks themselves looked good. The keys were funky looking like they came out of a 1961 key grinding machine. Newer keys usually are not grinder cut, they are punch cut with w nipper. (Making me think "third world country" )Please notice in the pic, both sides are NOT the same.....but both keys ARE the same.Next time I buy NAPA. Maybe at a higher price. Maybe not in stock and need to wait for shipment. BUT they will be first class.

Perfect in my 04 Silverado
Purchased this set for my 2004 Silverado 2500HD after it was stolen. Easy to install and piece of mind knowing I have the only 2 keys for this truck once again. Great product.
