We bought this to replace an older/bigger ottoman. It’s primarily for the dogs to jump down from the back of the couch safely. It’s a good ottoman, good price and good quality. We’re happy with it.

I bought the beige ottoman. I like the exterior of the product. It looks and feels sturdy. The exterior fabric feels soft and it looks very elegant. There were several things that I dislike though. I didnt like how cheap it looks inside. The black fabric they use seems a little translucent and you can actually see parts of the wood work. I wish they covered this with some type of foam or flat wood. It made it look like they build the structure and just covered it with some cheap fabric. The left hinge was slightly loose. When I tried to tighten it, it felt like I was spinning the screwdriver for about 5 minutes as it was neverending. It doesnt seem to lock on. The interior fabric material also has a smell to it. Some type of chemical that they used I'm not sure but it didnt smell pleasant. I decided not to return because it serves its purpose and also it's cheap price. I guess you get what you paid for.

It's a good enough bench/chest and overall am happy with it. However there are no pilot holes or inset threads to mount the legs. It comes with 16 short wood screws to mount the four metal legs directly onto the bottom of the wood frame. You must line up the legs as best you can, use a punch or nail to create pilot holes, then manually drive each screw directly into the wood. Recommend a power drill and some focus when setting the first screw on each leg so they will align properly.

Rather than having 2 hassocks we bought this to share. It's perfect! Great quality. Workmanship exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend!

This ottoman is brown by any standards- it is NOT gray as you can see when placed on a gray rug.The legs are curved and when you screw them in, they don’t all point in the same direction.I’m only keeping it because I can use it in elsewhere, but not good for what I wanted.
