The tool worked as expected
I needed to make a part with internal 3/4-16 left hand threads. This tool cut the threads really nicely and I got the job done for a price Iโm happy with. Iโm only writing this review because I was really worried about this tool after reading the other reviews. I used about 2 inches of stick out so I made smaller cuts and did a few spring passes at the end. No drama and the threads worked great.

Half good
Received the 1/2โ external and 3/8โ internal tools. The external tool is just fine, but the internal tool is useless since when the insert is attached, it points straight out the front of the tool instead of 90 degrees. Kinda makes cutting threads inside of something a little tough.

Appears to be well made
4 stars because someone can not convert metric to imperial. External is advertised as 1/2", its only .400"Inserts look great, and the fit of them in the holders is tight- very good. Hardware screws and driver are of good quality. A nice surprise for Asian imported items.

Outstanding company and service
I ordered this set to do some threading cutting for making a spider nut for my grizzly lathe and had one small issue with the internal threading bar being cut more off center than it should have been which resulted in poor cutter alignment. I contacted the company through Amazon and they quickly sent me a replacement bar with additional inserts. There is a good deal of flex in the internal bar, so you have to take lighter cuts or you will dull the insert rather quickly, so a few thousands for mild steel and then a spring pass will keep you cutting well. The company was very fast and responsive to my issue and acted quickly. I'll buy more from them in the future.

Quality holder, fragile inserts
The holder is pretty nice but the inserts break very easily. I don't know if I bought the wrong insert but it can't handle mild steel. It cuts aluminum pretty good though
