Zollinger's Atlas of Surgical Operations, Eleventh Edition

I work as a Surgical first Assistant and this book was recommended by one of the finest surgeons I’ve ever met. Every procedure I have done is described there with great detail. Definitely it is a very useful source of knowledge.

This review isn't about the content of the book but how it arrived to me. I purchased this book brand new and this is what it looked like when I took it out of the box. The back of the hardcover book is cracked all the way down. Very frustrating and disappointing for the cost. Not what I was hoping for!

Unfortunately my atlas came damaged, and I paid the full price od a brand new item, which is unacceptable.

Not sure why or how the edges of the paper came about like that. I purchased it as new as well. Disappointed especially give it’s price…
