Excellent Stabilizer for protecting valuable appliances.
The media could not be loaded. *************************Reason for purchase:*************************Before a few years, we were offered free stabilizers for ACs/ Refrigerators/ Televisions, etc. Nowadays once these "INVERTER" technology come no one is offering stabilizers and the manufacturers of these appliances advertise the product as "Stabilizer free operation", "6Kva surge protection", etc.In reality, if I purchase such a product and use them with any stabilizers in extra and the equipment fails, then1. We have to raise/register a complaint to the concerned service agency/ to the technician.2. They may visit the same day/next day based on the appointments they already have.3. Now there are 2 circumstances: A) The device had its Motherboard burnt or B) Only the surge protection device failed.4. The resolution will be in any of the 3 ways: A) For Motherboard failure, the technician may remove the board, take it to the service station, and will come back after a few days(mostly 10-15 days) once he gets a spare. B) If you are knowledgeable and if only the surge protection device failed, he will replace the part.C) If you are not aware of anything since you don't know what is a MOV(Surge Protection), he tries his best to charge you with the whole motherboard even though the fault may be only with MOV.*************************************Advantages of using a Stabilizer:*************************************1. If any surge current, the stabilizer will handle and it will fail without impacting our appliance.2. If the stabilizer fails, we can run the appliance even at least during non-fluctuating hours until the stabilizer is serviced.Final Verdict: No one can include the components present in the stabilizer inside an AC, and even if they are included then once it fails, we have some turnaround time and discomfort until the problem is resolved. So it's better to have them. Please don't go for plastic cabinet stabilizers(The famous stabilizer brand). Plastic is a bad conductor of heat. Whenever there is unstabilized power, the stabilizer has to work more and the induction creates a lot of heat in the core which has to move out. The plastic stabilizers are just for an elegant look for customers and cost-cutting for the manufacturers.*************************Coming to Product:************************** I bought 5Kva (150V-280V) copper wound stabilizer with HLC. Although I have a 1.5-ton Inverter AC which uses 1600-1700Watts of peak wattage, I would always suggest to upsize your stabilizer a little bit. When 4Kva is suggested for 1.5ton, I went for 5Kva just to ensure if we change our AC to a bigger size the stabilizer doesn't go outdated.* I am coming to the images and videos attached.1) The stabilizer came in nice packaging. I placed my order from BB Sales who is the authorized seller for Bluebird Stabilizers. Although a bit costly, I suggest don't for other sellers.2) It shows the details of the stabilizer.3) I am using Wipro 16Amps smart plug so that I don't have to wake up to turn off the stabilizer. [All the stabilizer uses some static energy to energize their coils. The particular stabilizer that I am using now uses 25 watts of energy. So if your stabilizer is kept on continuously it uses 1 unit every 40 hours or 18 units/month. Compared to 18 units * 12 months, I would suggest going for a smart plug and scheduling power off from the plug instead of the switchboard.4) Nameplate on the stabilizer.5) Has a TDS of 15 Secs. After 15 Secs, provides power to the appliance connected.6) The particular model doesn't have a plug point. It has a provision to connect terminals to the sockets. Also, the stabilizer comes with 1m of wire without any plug. So buy a 16Amps plug before the product is about to arrive. [To Manufacturer: I am planning to buy 4Kva for washing machines and Dishwashers but if there is an option to choose output as 16Amps socket(Which comes with Washing machines and Dishwashers) instead of NEL Terminals, it will be very helpful]7) Voltage Correction:A) If Input Voltage > 240 --> Reduce 30 Volts so output will be 210B) If Input Voltage < 200 --> Increase 30 Volts so output will be 230C) If Input Voltage >200 and <240 --> No corrections. So Input Voltage == Output Voltage.[To Manufacturer: I also suggest adding a wattmeter to the stabilizer. Since we have a display, just adding a few bucks will get us a device with more information.]Hope this helps. The stabilizer suits the need and protects the equipment and I hope the stabilizer should last at least a few decades and the service should be done without hassle if any issue occurs.

Just ok
This stabilizer is single face. The weight of the material use inside is indeed copper but very light in weight which is not good in terms of quality.
