Perfect for DIY projects and general seal use. Technical review
These strips are fantastic for DIY purposes, and an awesome drop-in for most standard interior/exterior doors for weather and sound. The buckling design means they require little force to compress, and i recommend targeting 1/16th ~1mm of compression. the uncompressed height is usually around 1/4", and it can compress to about 1/8". they are about 3/8" wide. Some points will be kinked from being shipped on a roll, but they all come back flawlessly. The biggest pro is the adhesive quality. it's the high quality clear stuff, it will gladly stick to paint, raw wood, steel, glass, and more, with enough holding power to never come off. but it won't leave marks when you do remove it. If making your own custom panels that sit flush, you can route a 3/16 deep by 3/8 wide notch to get the perfect fit. If weather resistance, adhesive quality, and consistency are your goals, these are the best price to performance compared to most! Will update with photos upon project completion!

Weather Strip Works!
This is a great product and plenty of it! Use the provided wipes first and the adhesive will stick! Sealed perfectly around my door.

Too Thin for Our Door Frame
Good product that is extremely easy to apply. The only issue is that it's too thin, leaving a noticeable gap and "draft" in the back door frame.

Great quality and price!
My windows and sliding doors had poor insulation. I cut the stuff to fit which was very easy. it has a very sticky layer that holds great to places needed. My electric/gas bill has dropped and it feels less drafty in my house. Very pleased with quality and price.

Disappointing Adhesion and Durability
I purchased this product for the door seal in hopes of improving insulation in my home and reducing heating costs. However, my experience with this product has been less than satisfactory. The installation process was as straightforward as advertised. Cleaning the door and applying the seal seemed simple enough, and initially, I was hopeful that it would effectively seal the gaps around my door frame. Unfortunately, my optimism quickly turned into disappointment as I noticed that the adhesive backing failed to provide adequate adhesion, despite meticulous surface preparation. Even after following the instructions diligently, the seal began to peel off within a short period, rendering its effectiveness questionable. Here is a pros and cons list according to my experiences: Pros: - Easy installation with self-adhesive backing. - Flexible material suitable for various sealing purposes. - Can be customized to fit different door and window sizes. Cons: - Poor adhesion despite proper surface preparation. - Doubts about long-term durability and effectiveness. - Some users experienced issues with adhesive quality and seal longevity. In summary, while the door seal offers convenience and versatility, its shortcomings in adhesion and durability raise concerns about its effectiveness as a long-term solution for insulation and weatherproofing needs.

Know your dimensions - this is great for narrow gaps not for outer doors
This is narrow, thin-ish weather stripping. It was absolutely perfect for filling a thin gap around a utility box that gets drafts from the outdoors. I would not use this on a regular door as it's too narrow and shallow, but the seller gives the dimensions. Measure carefully before you buy. It's a little stinky when you first open the package, but the plastic and glue smell dissipates over time.

Not as good as I thought
I really wanted this 50 Feet D-Shape Rubber Weather Stripping to work, but it was a complete letdown. The material feels cheap and flimsy, and it barely sticks to anything. Even after thoroughly cleaning the surface, the adhesive started peeling off within a day. In some spots, it never adhered at all. The “50 feet” claim also feels misleading — the roll was unevenly wound, and I’m convinced there was less usable length than advertised. Cutting it was easy, but that’s about the only positive. The seal itself doesn’t hold tight, so it does little to block drafts or noise, which defeats the entire purpose. After all the effort of installing it, I ended up ripping it off and replacing it with a different brand that actually works. Save yourself the frustration — I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Seals most air outside as needed for any openings at your house.
I have not used this weather stripping yet, but it looks and feels like a great product. I use seals like this for our attic opening and should seal the weather out. With these being flattened out, you get a wider seal area.
