I bought this set of duct tape to label our moving boxes. I have had zero issues with adhesion or tearing it properly (no strings unless I'm rushing and tear wrong). I have used printed duct tape (official brand name version) in the past and would liken the quality of this tape to that decorative duct tape or perhaps a smidge thicker. It isn't as thick as the original gray stuff, but it certainly isn't a quality I would complain about. It would happily use it for crafting or to repair a cracked plastic box without concern. I wouldn't use it in extreme durability conditions like tent repair (that's what the gray stuff or, really, Gorilla tape is for). I would definitely order this again.

I use this tape when packing my clients. I like to color code the boxes by room, and this tape is PERFECT! It stays on well, and rips easily, which is super helpful.

If you need variety at a good cost and don't care a ton about the quality, this is a pretty good deal. It's not quite up to par with actual "Duct-tape" brand though. The adhesion is less sticky and tearing it will more often leave you with strings. Also the color tends to scratch a little easier when scuffed. But if you're using it for 'contactless' crafts and use scissors to cut it everytime, it will most likely get the job done. If you're going to be rougher with your projects (swords/shields/other 'pretend' items for kids) and want to preserve the colors, I'd recommend spending a little more and getting actual "Duct-tape" brands.

My 7 year old grandson loves making things with duct tape. When he unwrapped his "gift" for Christmas his eyes lit up and he said it's his best Christmas gift! The varied colors give him many options for creative building.
