The product is really amazing. I got it for a feral cat that lives around my house and now she comes sits under it and eats there most the time, though she still don't like going inside it, but again it's a feral cat. I'm sure a house cat, or a domesticated stray cat would love living in it. Easy to assemble and good quality.

I thought the wood would be stronger and tougher but it is not. Two of the screws were not in place and I had to make holes to fit them

It was easy to put up. It is very pretty and the size is fantastic. If our kittens could talk they’d say “it’s awesome, mom!”😁🐱

Overall, this is an adorable & cozy cat house for my semi feral barn cat. He doesn’t like to be trapped & will sleep on top of any other cat house even in cold weather if he’s nervous-which makes me feel sad. This design means that he can escape if needed with the bonus of being off the ground so rain won’t splash in (even under my extended roof this has happened due to wind). The downstairs part will be lovely for feeding him in the rain since i used to make this complicated fort/roof with my patio furniture for him-which all had to be moved for me to go outside in better weather. Sadly I can’t bring him completely indoors as his tolerance for ‘inside life’ is about 7 minutes & he starts panicking. If that ever changes his little house will be moved inside but until then, I get to see him living his best life! (All I see is a cat butt pressed against the window as he curls up on his upcycled old memory foam pillow I cut in half to fit. It blocks the entrances so I just put old cardboard scratching pads he dulled in the ‘foyer’ -bonus was that since they had his scent, he moved in sooner than he usually does to a new space. Also, I didn’t even attempt the ramp as another commenter mentioned it fell with their cat. I just made a little block of 2 layers of bricks to about halfway to the opening and he could take it from there. There was a little bit of challenge with assembly but persistence, patience & a glass of wine resolved it. *I did notice that both swinging doors were assembled facing the wrong direction with regard to drafts. Pretty easy to carefully take them out & turn them around (just the door, not the frame). Again, for this price point, I am delighted!

I bought this little house to use as rain shelter inside a feral cat surgical recovery crate. I fully expected that It would be 'good enough for now' and get tossed out within a few months. It has turned out to be the most well made of all of my outdoor cat houses - All of which cost 4 to 6 times the price of this one. The quality is outstanding! It is assembled in minutes using bolts rather than screws that pull out so quickly from the thin wood usually used for these. The siding is lapped in such a way that water isn't going to get in during hard rains. This is a chronic problem with all of my other cat houses, even those made by the same manufacturer. The wood seems quite a bit heavier and all of the pieces fit perfectly together. It was a breeze to assemble, needing only eght bolts plus six short screws for the hinges. The manufacturer even included an extra bolt. That's something you never see anymore. The hinged roof fits properly. This is a bargain price for an item of the squality. If I had any suggestions to make, it would be that the design of the roof be altered to eliminate the wood edge where water is going to get trapped on the edges of the asphalt. I'm going to caulk this. Also, the screws for the hinges could be a little bit longer and thicker. I don't think they will hold very well for long. Another simple fix. And it is so cute I think it qualifies ais lawn and garden decor! This purchase was a total WIN!

When Cheeto was little we had the pop up tent. That was fine. Now he's full grown and a large cat so I wanted to give him more space and make it a little easier to fetch him out when he was being stubborn. This was perfect. It's light enough that if you want to move it around 2 people can do it in a pinch. Sturdy enough it won't be knocked over. Makes it so your kitty can hang out with you outside
