Update 6/02:My son has straight up wounds on his ankles from the USB port. The soles have worn down excessively, in a span of about 5 wears. You'll get a month outta these, but your kid will probably be over the gimmick before then. Don't recommend.---------------These get a 4.5 star fresh out of the box (I will be updating this with once they've had some proper use though because I am all about researching prior to purchase!)I purchased two pairs: toddler 8 and 8.5. I had some concerns about sizing based on a previous purchase from a different brand, and I'm very happy to say they seem true to size. My son will soon outgrow the 8 and this seems to have been a solid purchase!Received a charger for each pair neatly boxed up, they worked when I tested the lights (though they say to charge before using,) they arrived surprisingly fast as well. I ordered them on the 21st and I received them the 25th!Quality of the velcro: They seem sturdy, enough, but they are single line stitched, and had a lose thread or two on each shoe. Perhaps that means nothing and I'm only noticing it because of other reviews. Truthfully, my kid is going to burn through every velcro strap in his path. Regardless of brand or price so I'm not too concerned.USB port placement: Something to consider is obviously the comfort of your child, so reading of some blistering ankles is a big factor. They seem easy enough to tuck away, (but sometimes kids don't recognize those things until the damage is done.) If they are a problem, I think anyone with a bit of handy creativity will be able to patch it up in a way to keep the ankles safe from chafe.I'll pop on and update after some wear and tear.Overall they seem like a worthwhile purchase and I am so so so excited to give them to my son later!

These shoes are neat. However, I was only wanting shoes that light up with movement or steps. These light up all the time. Unless you turn them off. 😳 Very cool if you had a purpose for them, but I feel like continuous lights are distracting. I will keep them because the child likes them. They seem to be of decent quality but I only received them today. Time will tell.

I bought these for my 4-year-old son who loves light up shoes. These. are. so. cool! These come with a charging cable so the lights never go out. The charging cable is pretty exposed, it's right next to the ankle bone. my son fell into a pond feet first and these shoes were dripping wet. I didn't think that they would charge again, and they did! I was so impressed.

My daughter (3) is THRILLED with these shoes. For Christmas she specifically said she wanted Spider-man Light Up shoes. I found these at a good price point. These shoes are particularly bright (borderline too bright) and there are a lot of different settings that enthrall my kiddo. She loves turning off the lights of the house and turning on the lights of her shoes so she can "light our way". While I find charging shoes odd, the look on my kiddos face make these shoes a particularly good buy and a highlight of our Christmas. They fit true to size and my kiddo picked up how to operate them right away.

1-the smell of rubber chemical is strong! Air them out!!! 2-only one shoe would light up. Plugged the charger into the other and red lights started flashing on the shoe and wouldn’t turn off. So one shoe works fine and the other is a dud! 3-they are heavy shoes. 4-I feel like the charger part in the show will become uncomfortable over time. You have to make sure it’s placed on top of the tongue. 5-would have loved some Instructions. Such as are they supposed to be charged before first wear? If so how long? Will over Charging cause any issues? What happens if the shoe won’t turn off? Just basic information that is no where to be found.

I read the description on the page not knowing that it changed based on color. I hadn’t even noticed the styles were slightly different, but they are. We bought the black and gold ones for school shoes for my son. He currently wears a 2 but I ordered 2.5 and they fit with a little room for growth still too. My son LOVES them. BUT, we bought them for school as the description I read said they could be charged and turned off, etc. He cannot wear light-up shoes to school. We searched for quite a while to try to find any button or anything until I finally realized the description on here changed for some colors. Apparently it’s only the shoes with the Velcro strap that have the control. I will order those still for school as my son says they are comfortable and they look sturdy enough. I was going to return these but my son really wants to keep the black and gold ones for watching football (we’re in New Orleans! Go Saints! Who Dat!). I guess I’ll turn these into a Christmas present as bonus weekend/nighttime shoes. We just got them so I can’t speak to long-term quality. They seem similar of a little lower quality (but not much) than his Sketchers. I feel like the right price should be about $29, and I’m okay spending a few bucks more than that, but I wouldn’t spend a lot more if they went up to $40 or more. I’m still buying another pair though for $35.

Wow! What a great find. We were scared that we didn’t know the quality of the brand, but are INCREDIBLY pleased with the quality, sizing, shipping, packaging, and look of these shoes. My little guy absolutely adores them and he gets compliments literally EVERYWHERE we go- from kids to teens to parents and grandparents equally. They have about 14 different settings of lights, both blinking, color differentiating, and solid. They light up continuous, not non a per-step basis. And get this: THEY ARE COMPLETELY RECHARGEABLE and come with a dual power cord, so you can recharge both shoes at the same time. Super happy with the purchase as a frugal mom of three. Every kid in my house wants these now, so be prepared for that to occur. I will DEFINITELY buy these again. Also, I almost never leave reviews, but I’m so happy with these that I was compelled to do so. And no, I have not been compensated for my review. They’re just super cool kids’ shoes and I feel like folks should know!

Llego en tiempo y forma para mi nieto, es producto de calidad, funciona perfectamente y con bastante tiempo las luces led, lo recomiendo ampliamente .

Mandaron una talla mucho más grande q la q pedí. Dentro de 1-2 años probablemente los pueda usar. Aunque están muy padres.

The media could not be loaded.  Excelente, buena calidad, la talla viene exacta y llegó en tiempo correcto, soy de México y me llegó en 5 días, las luces son muy luminosas más de lo que esperaba, el diseño es igual a las fotos ñ, mi hijo está encantado.

My son like the lights and but they are not soft and not light weight.
