John FriedaBrilliant Brunette Visibly Brigher Lightening Conditioner 250ml

okay so I've used this product 3 times now, I have medium brown hair and decided I wanted to go a little lighter. I used the treatment twice in a week(which is not recommended) but I wanted fast results: it did lighten my hair and pretty naturally too - there was no orange tinge which I know is common with brown hair and overall I was very pleased. However when my roots started to grow out they were noticeably several shades darker and it looked quite odd which was expected so I wanted to do something about it. However as this is not on sale in stores anymore the price of one treatment has gone up exponentially and I only wanted to fix my roots so it was not worth the money. and if you apply to a whole head then you'll be stuck again with different shades. in all honesty I wouldn't recommend buying this as it is only sold my private resellers now - so if you love the product, be willing to go on a literal manhunt on eBay for it where the seller will charge you 4x the original asking price :/

I love John Freida products, and use them regularly, and so when I bought the wrong shade of brown hair dye, which was simply too dark, I thought this would help lift it. Unfortunately for me, I can’t see any noticeable difference in the colour or tone whatsoever, and I also used the shampoo from the range as-well so I would have expected it to lighten somewhat. Quite disappointed, and essentially in my case, a waste of money as my hair is still “bittersweet brown” aka black.

I have used this product on and off for a while now but I suspect this may not be the real product.This was bought during the first lockdown when I wasn’t able to leave home.It triggered off mild eczema on my scalp which I have never had before. The scent also seemed different.I eventually threw the whole bottle away because I think it was doing me more damage than good.

Used John Frieda a lot when my hair was bleached and it was the only one that softened it. Stopped using it when I went back to my natural colour but then thought I'd give this a go out of interest and so glad I did. Again my hair has gotten super soft after maybe three washes using this and I can definitely see more of a difference in my tones (I have mid to light brown hair). My friend actually asked me if I had had my hair done the other day as it had made such a difference. Super pleased and will definitely be getting another one.

This product really surprised me. I wasnt exoecting much but it really does work.It lifted my colour at least 1 shade which is what i was looking for.My daughter tried it also and it gave a look of highlights in her hait which made her happy.Definetly will purchase again. Smell was quite reasonable too. Wasnt too potent.
