Giannetti Artisans Authentic Sicilian Salted Capers of Pantelleria - Imported from Italy - 3.52 oz

Purchased Sicilian Salted Capers which I had heard about while watching 'Searching for Italy' w/S. Tucci. Sounded great instead of using the highly brined capers available at U.S. stores. Great! They have authentic Italian made spices, condiments etc.... Great for the discriminative taste buds.

My wife and I tried everything from soackibg them to letting the sit in olive oil to eleviate the amount of sodium. This is not the Manufactures or distributors fault. I think they are the way thay are supposed to be. No product quality issues, we just didn't like the amount of salt.

I’ve been using capers packed in salt for years and thought I’d kick things up with a pricier brand.Wow, are these things salty; my first go with them made a dish I wouldn’t serve to others, even though they’d had a good rinse. The second time under salted the rest of the dish and I soaked these, soaking again, and then a third time to get them to where I thought they wouldn’t be overwhelming. At that point they’d lost some of the flavor that makes them so special.I’m going to to keep looking for the right balance but these would likely put off a first time user. Not sure if I’ll keep using them after this bottle. Otherwise the texture is right and the size is great.

These are hands down the best capers we've ever had! Great flavor and texture. They add dimension to any dish.

Beautiful packaging, prompt delivery and delicious product. These capers add a robust depth of flavor that an ordinary caper doesn’t. Well worth the few extra dollars.

Capers arrived quickly and tasted delicious. They are quite salty since they are packed in salt, but used sparingly, the can make a meal really "pop".
