I was sound proofing my floor in my new apartment , I used the sealant in a gun , between all rhe floor boards and around the edges of the wallMy next task was to lay the accoustic/fire resistant 12mm thick floor panels , once I compketed that I then used the alumibium tape to seal between the 600mm M2 panels . It was so easy to use the sealant and the aluminium tape and oh so cost effective , I had been quoted over £1000, in the end it cost me under £200 and my neighbours bellow are blown over by how it has worked out.One of my best ever investments .Thankyou

Great product and excellent value for money.

Insulating a whole loft with PIR board and using this taps on the wooden rafters and the PIR board to make the whole loft reflective and it works well. Did find where they had used a smoother planed wood for the velux windows that it didnt stick to that too well but apart from that worked great and stuck well to courser rafters without coming off.In terms of it being hard to separate from the backing, i useful tip it to not cut the tape with the backing but peel away and cut the tape leaving some backing paper exposed and you wont have to keep separating it everytime !
