Both connections were a perfect fit and the braided nylon(??) outer hose slides through the faucet neck smoothly and with very little friction, making the nozzle a lot easier to pull out. The one issue, which others have noted her on desertcart, is that the weight provided by the faucet mfgrs will slip a bit on this thinner hose. I fixed that with a 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" long piece of double-sided foam tape placed on one half of the weight. Placement of the tape was such that it effectively decreased the inside diameter of the weight which, along with the adhesive on the tape. stopped the weight from sliding down the hose. While I can't say for certain how long this hose will last, for the price and ease of replacement I could be happy having to replace this hose every six months to a year if necessary. My only complaint is if you haven't used the faucet in a while and pour a glass of water it tastes like it came out of a garden hose. The solution, let the water run for a little bit before drinking from it. Overall, I am very pleased with this product as it saved me a lot of money not having to replace a whole faucet.
