Loving the revival of the original Teva I remember from the early 90s. Super comfortable at first wear, well made, & great fit!
I stumbled on Tevas back in the early 90s when they were new to the world and were extremely well made and preppy. Fell out of love with Teva by early 2000 because they cheapened the materials and the production quality was just not what I was used to being spoiled by the original Teva sandals. Now bring on present day when I saw these on Amazon and decided to give them a try again because it looked like from the pictures these are the sandals I remember from 20 years ago. I am so glad I took a chance on these Original Flip Flops in Blue and Orange. I am size 12 for dress (ECCO) and running shoes (Nike Air Max and Asics) and I ordered a size 12 in Teva and they fit perfectly. They are super cool and preppy just as I remember the original ones being. The colors are cool and as pictured. Next have to try them on to see if they feel as good as I remember. Right out of the box these are noticeably well made and remind me of my past. These are great for running errands or doing a long walk on a hot summer day. These are my go to sandal when it is raining out. My feet stay secure because of the texture of the top of the sandal. Love the squishy feel of these and they have a nice added comfort feature of more padding at the arch area. The straps secure your foot but do not chafe or rub like cheaper flip flops do. I really hope that Teva continues to make the Original line. It is really why Teva became a name brand and I applaud the company for re-thinking their products and going back to the quality material and superb craftsmanship that they had when they began their company. I highly recommend the Original line. They come in so many cool colors it is hard to choose. Definitely try them. They will become your favorite active flip flop all year round.

Comfortable, sturdy flip-flop
Bought these for my husband as "shower sandals" for work. He thought they were too nice for that (they are) so they never made it to work. He's not normally a sandal guy, but he does wear them around the yard in the summer, to the pool and beach, and has taken them on vacations. Says they are sturdy and very comfortable. I bought a 12 which he normally wears and they fit well; not too tight at all as others have said, but he does have a narrow foot. The only negative is that they seem to take a very long time to dry if you get them more than a little wet. I'd highly recommend these if you can get them at a good price like I did.

Ouch
**Update**I have had these Teva flip flops for 3 years now! And I gotta say they are the best ive ever owed. I do not wear shoes unless im going to the gym. So I wear flip flops daily, and this has been my daily wear set for 3 years now and im amazed at the condition they are still in. Still firm, straps are still in one piece. After 3 years im buying another pair, but i wont be throwing the old pair out, they are still in great shape. I guess I wrote my initial review too soon, because i love these. Will never buy anything other than Teva.I ordered size 11, I am a 10.5 foot. They fit but barely. The soles are very comfortable. The "thong" is not. The material is very harsh on the skin, well mine at least, feels like walking around with Sand on the top of your foot, I can not wear them too long, so I just use them to go outside around my house. They are well made and seem very sturdy. Personally, I would buy Teva products, but not these.

The strap is unforgivingly tight and unyielding!
I tried one on in Maui and it fit really well, but I bought something else at that time, it might've been a zilch? I passed on the flip flop at that time. I ordered this one and had to send it right back, the strap was way, way too tight. The footbed was perfect, I mean perfect fit, I'm a straight men's 7.0 USA, my foot is 9.75"; but once I tried that strap, that was the deal killer. It only allowed my foot to go about 80% of the way in, and I have skinny feet for a dude. I tried gently stretching the strap overnight with a shoe stretcher, NO GO.I'm sure it might be awesome otherwise, I.e. My wife loves hers, but for me, nope, both straps just didn't give. I'm not sure if that's particular to this model, or I just had a TIGHT one. But for me, no, I had to return it.

Good buy if they fit you
I haven't actually worn these yet but I've tried them on and definitely have a few first impressions. I wore the real "original" Teva flip sandal at the Jersey Shore for years and these definitely aren't the same thing. Can't comment on the durability but these definitely aren't made as "beefy" and the fit is much smaller. I take a 10.5 shoe size and my old pair was a size 10. I ordered a size 11 this time and they are too small...but I can't force myself to order a size 12 so I will see how these work out...maybe they will squash/stretch a bit. On the positive side, these things are priced about half of what the originals were so my guess is they will be a good buy if they fit.

Great flop for the buck
I'm glad Teva still produces these. Along with Crocs, Crocband Flip, the best flip flops for the price out there. The foot bed grips your foot well and they don't slip on your feet. Some have commented about the strap being too tight, but I personally like a tight strap on my flops. I had a pair of Sanuk flops and the strap was so loose I kept turning my ankle in them thus I got rid of them. I would definitely recommend these.

Order a half size larger than you normally would with Teva's.
The Teva Mush always fit my normal size perfect, these are a little too small. If I wasn't so lazy I'd return them for the larger size. Sole of flip-flop isn't as soft as the Mush either but I'm hoping they'll break in. Also the pattern on the rubber takes some getting used too, expect them to build up some calluses on the soles of my feat. I think the Mush or Mush II is a better flip-flip but I got these for $20 cheaper. Curious how they'll break in after a few months of daily use.

Wish they were what I expected.
The Teva Men's Original Flip was featured recently in an Outside Online article as a top performer. Given the price point, I figured I'd give them a go as my Reef's were getting pretty well worn. Tried them on and unfortunately, not what I expected. I normally wear a 10 and probably should have ordered an size 11. Along with that, the material was not as comfortable as what I had hoped for. I'll be returning them for something else. Simple and functional, just not right for me.
