Left ear stopped working after 1 week
You'd think with how bulky some of these wires are it would last longer than that, but no. £25 down the sink

Great choice of indoor and outdoor use of headphones!
Pros:- Excellent headset for indoor/outdoor use (like gym/studying/playing games)👍- very comfortable to wear and fits just perfect 🎧in-ears and it feels just great, very happy on that end👏- Packaging is well maintained and very neat📦- Sound Quality and microphone is splendid, works perfectly fine, great sound and music👍🎶- When wearing it, it adjusts to the ears very well and very comfortably👍- Thickness is also good, no problem with that- The built quality is really good, texture is nice👍-11hrs plus music playtime (impressive spec👍)- Pricing is very good at £49.99💸- Black/blue is my favourite colour, great colour of choiceCons:- Ears become really warm overtime (3+ hours) and feels less comfortable after, had that experience but can be subjective (as I have sensitive ears👂)Overall, these headphones are really good in terms of sound quality and built quality as well as good microphone too (used it a lot for conference calls and used for gaming and music too and worked really well in all those sectors👍. works well in noisy environments, I was able to still hear very few of the background but didn't affect the level of attention to music. The sound is spectacular and the microphone is very good, had no buffers or cut outs; just clear experience only👍.Pricing at £48.99💸 is very affordable for what I am getting. I'm getting 11hrs+ of use time with good built quality and which I would say are very impressive features at this price point. It adjusts very well; these Jlab headphones do fold but not fully reach my expectations like others which I have had in the past but this would've made it better if it was able to in terms of more bass. However, Packaging came really well and the texture on the headphones are very soft but my ears do get exposed to a lot of trapped heat overtime and does heat my ears. Yet, wonderful headphones and would definitely recommend , hope this helps to find your headphones❤️!

Superb for running! So well designed!
I can't believe how happy I am with these headphones. The wireless ones I usually use when I go out running have stopped working so I turned to these ones which I had originally ordered to use when online gaming but just haven't had the time to organise a gaming session (difficult these days now I'm a middle aged man and not a teenager!). The first thing to point out is the bag they come in - yes, that's right....I'm starting my review talking about a bag! You open up the packaging, which is all nicely packaged and easy to open, and the first thing that plops out of the casing is this gorgeous black textured carry case which has some of the additional leads inside it. It's a lovely modern smart black square pouch with an ice blue coloured zipper, the texture of it is really soft, inside you have a webbed blue lining which feels great quality and provides lots of padding for your gear. The lovely blue features across all the accessories inside the pouch, they really do look modern and smart. You get the usual short USB to micro-USB charging lead that plugs into your usual array of plugs or sockets. Then there's a longer lead with a micro-USB connector to plug into the headphones and at the other end a 3.5mm jack lead to go into your games controller. 6 inches up from this connector is a nicely contoured black plastic block with a finger friendly volume wheel to easily adjust the loudness whilst using them for gaming. I've used them briefly on the x-box to test them out and they seem to work well. Not quite as bass heavy and clear as the larger round the ear ones I normally use but the microphone works well and they are a very good option if you don't want to use a clunky massive headset. A particularly good option if you're going round to someone else's house to do some gaming and need a headset but want to pack light. They aren’t the loudest, I had to wheel the volume up past around 50% to get the game audio to come through (checked the settings on my xbox to make sure it was turned up to a decent volume). However, the audio coming through is crisp, not massive on the bass but you can hear the details really clearly – great for games where you need to listen out for enemies approaching as there’s a decent mid and top end range to hear those little nuances. The main use for these headphones for me is when I go running, and I'm blown away with how well they are designed for this purpose. The main headset features the two black 90 degree angled earbuds with lovely soft blue squidgy ear pieces (a bag of spares/slightly smaller/larger ear pieces is included in the bag). These fit in to my ears really comfortably and don't fall out when running. 6 inches down from the right ear piece you have a handy on/off switch for the microphone so if you're using them for gaming or a handsfree call and want to make sure your voice isn't coming over then just hit this switch. A few more centimetres down, the regular thin headphone wiring connects to two slightly weighted plastic bars, one of which has handy controls for volume up/down and start/stop on/off etc. Coming out of these bars is a thicker, again slightly weighted and springy bendy wire. This is the genius of these headphones as, particularly if you’re wearing a collared exercise top, you can almost wear them as a tie round your neck (I've hopefully shown it better in a video which I will attach to this review). If, like I did, you are thinking “why would you restrict your neck whilst exercising”, I can tell you that in practice as soon as you start running you realise that whilst the springy design of the wires is enough to keep them in position it is in no way tight enough to cause any problems whilst running. They just kind of sit in position around the back of your neck and the little bars just keep everything from sliding around. I’ve done a few fairly long runs with these headphones in and they work brilliantly. For £50 you’re not getting world-beating sound out of these headphones, as mentioned above they are a little low on the bass side but I tend to listen to podcasts when running anyway and for gaming, you don’t particularly want your head blasting off with bass all the time and the main thing is that you can hear your teammates clearly through them. Really pleased with these headphones and would recommend them as good value and exceptionally well put together….oh and did I mention that lovely accessories bag!!!!?

They're okay but pointless for PS5 or Nintendo Switch
At this point I’ve used quite a few JLab buds, so far none of them have impressed me and these are no different. The JLab play is a set of “gaming” earbuds which claim to work with consoles…You must use them wired if you want to use them with the PS5 or Nintendo Switch since those don’t support bluetooth audio (for no reason at all), this isn’t JLabs fault but I know people will assume these will work wirelessly with the modern consoles based on what JLab have said and sadly they don’t.As usual with JLab these are very style over substance, they look great with the blue and black but really don’t succeed at anything important, they just feel so much like generic earbuds when in use, they aren’t horrendous but I really don’t see myself going out of my way to use these if there’s other options. These earbuds are what I call “semi-wireless”, you don’t need a wire to connect them (well, not to your bluetooth supported devices at least) but they are connected together with a cable, in this case it goes around your neck which I personally don’t mind, it’s a little uncomfortable but I still prefer it to wired, it’s very convenient to be able to have them hang from your neck when not in use instead of having to shove the wire up your shirt like you would with wired earbuds.I mostly used these wired, mostly because I couldn’t be bothered pairing them to my PC after already pairing them to my phone out of the box.The sound is exactly as I expected from JLab, super bloated and way too bassy sound, some people might like it but I personally prefer to hear frequencies above 250hz in my audio. With gaming buds I usually expect a bit of soundstage since that’s what gamers care about now (for a good reason too, soundstage is great), sadly these are the definition of narrow, you won’t be getting any advantage when gaming with these. At the current price of £25 I would say these will do if you’re not too bothered about sound, there’s a lot better options if you look into wired buds so unless you’re planning on using these for mobile gaming you’d be better off with something true wired. Thanks for reading!

Uncomfortable and Fiddly to Connect
I spend a lot of time in conference calls and my usual headphones are good but rather warm when it comes to summertime. I thought I’d try the JLab Wireless Earbuds to see if they could provide me with a lightweight alternative. The packaging and accessories are stylish blues and blacks. Besides the headphones, you get an audio jack and a USB charging cable along with a zip-up carry case and three sizes of silicon bud covers. The controls are attached to the right-hand earpiece’s cabling. The neckpiece is quite tightly coiled out of the box, meaning it can be a little uncomfortable to wear to begin with, although it has softened with use. I’m constantly reaching for the mute slider rather than the power/volume control bar as that’s the controller that hangs free of your neck and is easiest to get at, especially if you have long hair. The ear bud covers are awful. I have issue with ear buds and always need to use the small covers – preferably very small, if the manufacturer provides them. The real problem with these is the raised company logo on either side of the bud cover that effectively makes each one the next size up. On first use, after 10 minutes, my ears were so painful I had to remove them. I couldn’t wear the buds again for another couple of days and then only after replacing the covers with another manufacturer’s small ones. I can now manage up to 3 hours at a time, but these are definitely not that comfortable for prolonged wear.Battery charge: I got around 8 hours out of them when using for listening to music and taking part in conference calls. They recharged fully in around 1-2 hours.Connectability: the headphones paired quite simply with my iPad, although be aware that if anyone calls you on your phone/Pad, you’ll need to use the on button on the headphones to accept the call – if you press on screen, it bypasses the headphones to use the device’s speaker and mic. Connecting to the computer was much more of a pain – pairing was relatively straightforward, but sometimes the headphones connect as soon as I turn them on, sometimes I have to manually go into the control panel to get them to connect. There are also multiple setting options when paired to a PC, and trying to make sure all platforms are using the ones that actually let you hear/speak is a faff – again, sometimes the software figures it out straight away, sometimes you have to fiddle with the settings before you can hear or say anything.Sound quality: it’s okay – not bad for music, but for speech in video conferencing platforms it can be a little quiet even at maximum volume. I have no idea what I sound like to anyone else on it, so much so that if I’m recording, I switch back to my main gaming headset.Overall: I won’t be continuing to use these. The inconsistency in connectivity and the discomfort with prolonged wear means if I do want a lightweight alternative to my main setup, I’ll go back to my buds which don’t hurt my ears.
