The pocket watch holder was purchased to compliment a gift of the Charles -Hubert pocket watch. I was very impressed with the quality of the product. The leather is sturdy and attractive. The gift recipient is also very pleased with this piece since it adds protection to the pocket watch. The holder has a strong leather strap that functions as a snap loop to allow for attachment. I am sure that I will purchase another when buying a pocket watch. This accessory comes highly recommended to complete the pocket watch purchase.

Fits my pocket watch perfectly which I just noticed is also a Charles-Hubert ( DUH ). Also clips to the belt and slides along the belt between the loops and can be out of the way if you need it to be. Easy to unsnap and get to. I wear sweat pants all the time with no belt, so my wife sewed a a small two inch cloth loop on one side for the Holder to snap onto. Works great.Oh, and this thing is beautiful.

This is a very nice leather case to keep your pocket watch in. It will protect it from scratches. and it will not get bounced around in your pocket. It is very hard to find pants with a separate watch pocket. so this works well. However this case does have one flaw. The snap that holds it to your belt , comes unsnapped real easy. They should sew the strap to the case. Then you would have to slid it on and off your belt, but it would be more secure. I have a good chain on my watch or i would have lost it. What i did to the snap I put locktite 60 sec. universal glue,around the base of the snap, hold it for 60 sec. This snap will not open again. Great stuff. You can get it on Amazon. This is the only reason I deducted one star. otherwise it is an excellent case.

It's just what i needed to carry my pocket watch without scratching it or having it bouncing arund with another thing in my pocket. Only problem is the clamp on to the belt. It pops out too easily it doesn't feel secure.

Hi, I bought the Charles Hubert 48mm pocket watch holder to make access easier to my pocket watch while sitting down. It does just that, easier to access. I was expecting the leather to be heavier in thickness, but now appreciate the lighter weight of it. So far the holder does exactly what it was designed to do, contains the pocket watch. No problems with the snap fastener. Very Satisfied .

If you are looking at this product you want to be sure your watch is protected. Two elements of concern that I encountered are:There is a cover to protect your watch from the interior fastener river - is that sufficient?The fastener for the belt loop is not secure, opening up within warning.To solve the first I put my watch in thin velvet jewelry bag before inserting it in the pouch.To address the second I used cyanoacrylate adhesive to permanently close the belt loop fastener.It was worth the $15 I spent but I’m glad I did not buy the brown leather pouch at twice the price.

What can I say, the thing is a little expensive for what it is, but it is well made. Just make sure you pick the right size. If you have an older watch, I would say up to a 16s should work fine. The inside snap back is protected by a small of piece of plastic which won't seem to mark up your watch. I was concerned, but looks like they thought this out.
