100% Austrian Boiled Wool Low Cut No Show Ankle Sock Footlet

These socks are truly a work of art. When they first arrived (in some pretty awesomely decorated packaging by the seller with a sample of natural wool wash and a beautiful hand written thank you note) I thought they would be too small but since I measured my foot as the diagram indicates they were absolutely perfect. These socks are the finest quality I have seen and are truly breatheable. I love the ruffle type stitching around the ankle due to the knit two purl two design. I tried them on and wore them in the house with my Alegria Mary Janes on a warm April night and my feet didn't sweat.The only thing I wish the owner would have done differently was to post a picture of the actual color I received. I almost returned them because of this, but I like the natural brown grey solid color that I received so I kept them. Hopefully the owners will change the item picture to reflect what you will actually be recieving. Other than that, I have no complaints and I will definitely be looking to order the Dachstein Woolwear mittens in some funky and fun color later this year.

They’re nice cozy pure wool socklets and well crafted, but holy Hanna. I still can’t believe I paid forty bucks for one pair of socks. There really isn’t anything else comparable out there tho, so after a few days of mulling it over I bit the bullet. I wanted something warm that doesn’t make your feet sweat like synthetic slippers so I’m wearing these with a pair of moccasins. If they last it’ll be a nice little luxury that’s worth it in the end. Took a while to get them but the seller was up front about the expected delivery date :)

These are the warmest socks I have ever owned. I use to have cold feet through out the winter and since I got these socks my feet have been warm for the first time ever! You can not beat 100% wool. Highly recommended do not wait buy them now. I am getting at least 2 more pairs. Thank you.

These are by far the most fantastic socks I have ever worn and in fact I expect they will adorn my feet for years and years to come because I just ordered more.The family Dachstein in Austria are brilliant in their design and their finish work. So I’m love with these socks, if you have not noticed!!!!! I also want to thank their United States distributor in being an OUTSTANDING customer service addition to the Dachstein family. They have been hands on with one issue and fantastic with follow through.Years later and still my favourite sock

Good socks-well-made. I wear them when it is cool in bed and with roomy sandals if it's not quite cold enough for boots. They hand-wash well; they do take a while to air-dry but that's expected with boiled wool. They are organic and not itchy and my skin is super sensitive to itching.The company who sells them is also very cool-they shipped the socks in a turquoise sack with St. Patrick's day stickers all over and a very nice thank-you note and 2 business cards. Cheered my day. Thank-you.

I love these socks! They arrived quickly, and the fit was great. These socks are 100% wool, which means there's no elastic around the ankle. So if the socks being a little loose around your ankle bothers you, you may not like them as well. But they don't fall off your feet, and they're warm! I am really enjoying them! Thank you!
