Owl Pellets (Set of 10 with Bone Chart)

These were really great! My science class had a great time dissecting these. I thought they might be a little small, but there was a surprising amount to see, even with the small size.

A lot of fun and great activity for quarantine "homeschooling." Takes some time and focus but not a hard activity and a lot better than relying on workbook after workbook to educate and entertain the kiddos. Our 5 year old needed some help with the smallest pieces an our 7 year old was pretty much independent. Good buy. Good value.

What an awesome, educational item! It was so fun to teach ny niece about owl pellets. I even bought a seperate book about owl puke to read together. We found many skulls!

Got plenty of great bones and science fun for my class

We live in CA and I wanted to buy pellets from a different state so my class could experience different animals found within the owl pellet. These pellets come from WA and were exactly what I wanted. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that the owl pellets varied so much on their sizes and my students didn't think it was fair that their neighbor had a bigger one. I explained to them that every owl pellet is unique in size, so I am not sure if this could have been helped or not. Otherwise, FANTASTIC product.

As a homeschool mom of a kindergartener and a middle schooler, we have done this project before . But the specimens were very poor . We only explored 4 of the 10 we ordered and we found intact skulls , one a bird complete with un digested feathers .My 4 yr old ( yes 4 ) was so excited to see what the owl ate , my 13 yr old was thrilled to examine the bones in more depth .If we need to order more , this company will be the one I order from . Can’t wait to see what else we find in the other pellets

Great activity for 3rd grade. We had been learning about animal habitats and read the novel "There's An Owl in the Shower." Excellent tie in and it was very surprised that every student was hands on with the dissecting and identifying process. Great customer service.

My class thoroughly enjoyed these pellets. I had an varied age range of students, 3rd to 5th graders, and they were very excited upon hearing they would dissect owl pellets. I hope to purchase these pellets again and highly recommend the product. They were shipped quickly and were not as expensive as pellets that I had purchased from another science supplier. The quality of the product was excellent. The students found several bones in each pellet.
