Review: COSPLAY review - I have been making props from eva foam, shoe rubber, PVC, etc. since 2013 and this is an EXCELLENT adhesive for eva foam works on almost everything, I tried wood+foam, wire+foam, foam+foam, pvc+foam, foam+fabric, fabric+jewels, for fabric don't expect the fabric to be in perfect condition, the fabric will stiffen and looks wet and I think that's normal it's gonna look like water stain that hardens on the fabric. ADVICE BEFORE BUYING: make sure you read what it says on the label, this one is "super thin 1-3second" it means this is like water and it dries within 1-3 seconds, there's a purple one that says "gap-filling 5-15sec" that one is kinda gooey medium consistency like a thicken water or a sauce, and there's other more so make sure you pick the one you are most comfortable using, I like this thin one since I have used Greco 888 before and I'm used to this kind of consistency. THIS WILL STICK TO YOUR SKIN and it will hurt to remove it, I wear "NITRILE GLOVES" not just any gloves a nitrile gloves okay? and it works amazing it doesn't go through my gloves but don't use your gloves to press the materials together the gloves will stick to it too if the glove got some adhesive on it, this is just for protection, I mainly used this to wipe the adhesive droplets on the materials and protect my skin, also wear a respirator mask, and used it in a well-ventilated area (not in your room) since this is toxic it is bad for your lungs. You must be very careful! This 103 glue is water thin and runs out of its bottle and all over your fingers in an instant. Never squeeze the bottle, even when it's upright. I've learned to keep a small jar of acetone near by when working with this stuff. **Q: Will it soak in to and through wood veneers?** A: Possibly, depends on thickness, density, humidity and moisture content of the wood. I use it to seep into balsa wood to add additional strength. It soaks in quite well. If the fumes bother you a gold version is available too. **Q: how do you keep the super glue wet the cap already split the first time I used it and now it's leaking everywhere** A: I've used various brands of super glue, including Bob Smith, for years, and this has happened to me only a couple of times, but never on the first use. What has happened, for me, was that there was a build-up of dried glue around the tip and, when I tried to force on the cap, it split. (I never had a leakage problem, though; it is important to store the bottle top up, always. The glue is such low viscosity that it will easily seep through a tiny opening.) When you do find a build-up of dried glue around the tip, remove it gently with a pair of pliers. For a makeshift cap, you may be able to use a small marette-- those little plastic thingies that one uses to bind the ends of electrical wires together. Also, when you finish a bottle and throw it away, save the cap, in case you need a replacement further along. **Q: Does this product dry clear and can you sand it down to a smoth finish?** A: You can always sand it to a smooth finish-- no problem.
