If had it to do over, I'd likely purchase a single top-quality less-sticky pan instead of this set. The little plates and sporks are too small for practical use and other gear had to be used. Now, for my personal preferences, I have gradually removed or replaced every item that comes with the pan from my backpack kit. Useless plastic lid replaced with MSR Alpine plate. The alpine plate also negates the need for the plastic plates. Although the spatula is a nice feature, I replaced that with a small stainless steel spatula that I made. I use a titanium spoon & fork set, so the supplied utensils are of no use to me. The cutting board was also removed, being too small for my uses. I always use this outdoors and sometimes at home. The handle can be removed easily and the pan could even be used in an oven for baking. Very solid and durable.
