The quality is poor so the scanner can't read the labels. For pics is ok.

Fun Printer
Purchased this to identify some items we have in boxes... a picture is worth a thousand words kind of thing. We often have yard sales and it is unfortunate but at times we get people switching boxes/prices. These prints are extremely helpful. On the fly we can take a picture of an item and place the print out on the box.Now there is no question of what item belongs in what box and the price. If the picture happens to get damaged we get suspicious about what is going on and refer back to the paper/computer list which has the price. The picture quality usually is pretty good.Setup was easy and quick. We Recommend this item.

Quality is not very good
The print quality, despite the listing showing printing the picture of a woman is pretty atrocious. The best I could print on this was line-art type images and logo style pictures. Will it accept a high quality jpg from your iPhone? Yes! It will! You will also be able to recognize what is in the picture (for example a human adult, male or female). That's about where the quality ends. I wish it printed with a little better quality but as-is it's mostly a novelty item with chuck-e-cheese photo booth style image prints.

Fun and convenient when you want a mini picture or a label
This mini printer works well for the price. You can use it to print little pictures or stickers, and it functions fairly well as a more versatile label-maker.The package comes with the printer itself, a USB charging cable (no wall adapter), a wrist strap, and a couple rolls of thermal paper. There is a roll already loaded in the printer that is ready to go. You will need to download the Tiny Print app to make it work, though. The printer is compact and basically fits in the palm of your hand. The door opens up easily and you can load a roll of thermal paper in there. For paper refills, you want those mini rolls of thermal paper that are 50-55mm wide. But they can't be a thick roll of cash register thermal paper because it won't fit in the paper chamber. It has to be the mini rolls that you can find here on Amazon and a few other office supply stores. Charging the printer takes 1-2 hours, and the printer only has micro-USB. I wish it had a USB-C charging port instead. However, I don’t think there is any way to control the printer via the USB cable. In order to make it work, you need the Tiny Print app and you have to have a Bluetooth 4.0 or higher phone/tablet. Be aware that this is a Chinese company product with a Chinese app. Most of the app is available in English, but some things, like pop up notifications, are only in Chinese. Pairing took me a few tries the first time, but I eventually got it to work. Once you have a slow flashing green light, you’re connected. I did have a red LED light on the printer, and it took me awhile to figure out that the paper needed to be fed through the opening. Once I fixed that, the red LED stopped and it went back to the flashing green light. Using the app isn’t too bad, but you’ll have to click around to figure out how to get the printer to print what you want. The easiest thing is to take a take a picture of something and then instantly print it. That’s straightforward. To print a picture that is already in your photos app, you have to go through the app camera first, then select a tiny box at the bottom that represents your old pictures. From there you can select an older picture you have, see a quick preview, and print it.To me, print quality is good considering this is a cheap thermal printer. In that context, I was impressed with the prints. The actual printed image or text is probably under 2 inches wide, but you can make out details. If you use sticker paper you can print out labels and then you don’t need to also buy a label maker. But it is a thermal printer. There is no ink. The paper is heat sensitive, so as the paper moves past a filament, it is heated up to different amounts, which then produce different levels of black on the paper. The good news is that you never need to buy an ink cartridge, the bad news is that the resolution and grayscale intensities are limited. If you want to see an example of how it prints text and images, you can search my name on YT or you can search "Papercraft Robocop Game Boy" there to see how I used it in a short video that I made.So overall, I like this thermal printer. I had to deduct a star because it’s not using USB C and the app could be a little better. But for this price, the printer is a lot of fun and has real productive uses.
