Hodedah 2 Door Wardrobe with Adjustable/Removable Shelves & Hanging Rod, Cherry

Ordered this wardrobe for extra storage in my spa office. I was worried after reading some of the other reviews that the cabinet would show up shattered and that sending it back was going to be hell. The only dings on this cabinet are the ones I made while putting it together by myself. Took me about 2 1/2 hour, it wasn't that hard but and an extra set of hands would have been helpful. I have two kitchen islands also chocolate in colour waiting to be put together. Hope they match. I do wish it came in two boxes, easier to move.

Horrible! The most horrible thing I have ever ordered on amazon. And I’ve had amazon for 2 years.First of all. My package was 1 month late.Second, it arrive with no screws, no hardware. It only came with the wood and instructions. How am I supposed to assemble it with no screws.And last it came with broken wood. Even if I had the screws I wouldn’t be able to put it together to whole top part of the dresser came broken.Waste of time and money:IF YOU NEED A DRESSER DONT SPEND TIME BUYINT THIS. I wanted to be cheap and learned my lesson. Wasted a whole month of my life dealing with it.

When I first opened the box I was excited it looked nice and durable and easy to assemble. I have little knowledge about putting big furniture together but everything was labeled matching to its tools. Directions were included and clear to read but it took me two hours and calling for help to assemble. A month following assebly the cabinet door has fallen lose and screw has been striped it’s a cabinet we used for everyday use and there is not what it should be used for. Overall, it looks nice but I wouldn’t buy again. More than likely it’s just because buyer error but it was challenging for my help as well.

This product was absolutely unacceptable. Many pieces were damaged. Pieces had chunks out them, some parts completely broken in pieces. With the package opened now there is no way to return it. I’ll just put it on my burn pile. There weren’t even any instructions with it. Very disappointed.

For the price point I wasn’t expecting much. My plan was to use this as overflow clothing storage in my basement so I didn’t need it to look amazing. But boy do you get what you pay for. First putting this together was a pain in the butt. It is not IKEA engineering, it is far more difficult than it needs to be. Lining up all the pieces onto the dowels is practically impossible especially if you’re working on a not totally even floor. Pro tip, assemble one piece at a time and then put in the screws which is actually several steps ahead on the directions to hold it in place. The most disappointing thing for me is that it’s not deep enough to hold an adult size shirt. I would need to buy children’s hangers in order to fit clothing on the rod and then close the doors of the wardrobe. As you can see in my pictures I’m actually just leaving the doors off for now. I guess I’ll suit my purpose but man it’s kind of ugly. Next time I’ll pay more for IKEA.

Took me 4 hrs with the extra work I performed. It would be much easier with 2 people. It arrived filthy, one damaged shelf, and even after my modifications is still very UNSTABLE. I'm going to try removing the back and gluing it as well as nailing it. FOR THE PRICE i knew it would require extra work.MODIFICATIONS:Remove molding between the two doors which prevents you from opening them independently. Put Extra nails across the back into the shelves. Black Sharpie marker to cover all the stuff marks. Drilled 8 new holes to install the 2 shelves in the bottom half so the top can be used to hang clothes. Put felt sliders on the bottom instead of the cheap plastic feet. Added rubber bumpers so the doors don't slam.tools: hammer, tape measure, masking tape, drill bits, Pry bar, screws, vacuum, household cleaner, screw gun, T-square, pliers.
