Excellent presentation of articles written about MACVSOG Recon missions conducted across the border of South Vietnam into Cambodia, Laos and the North Vietnam. Main players were the bravest American combat military members of the 5th Special Forces, Green Berets and indigenous team members who risked their lives on every mission. After 30 years of Top Secret classification, their story can now be told, and what a story it is! The author digs deep through conversations with team leaders and members to reveal their life and death missions against a proven enemy. Accompanied by personal photos of people and events lend historic value to the many articles throughout the publication. Not much for your money compared to other authors books. (Secret Commandos)

As a member of Special Forces I found the stories and photos of Pucker Factor a true description of the lives of thoes who served with MACVSOG in Vietnam detailing personal experiences dealing with life and death situations on every mission. Great read and humbled to know their stories can be read by anyone who desires to know what the meaning of life has a flavor only thoes who has fought to stay alive knows. Great reading and recommended all Americans read.

Jason Collins is a MACVSOG enthusiast/record keeper/historian who seeks out SOG veterans and prods them (skillfully) to record their combat experiences for future generations. Their stories would go untold if not for his brand of motivation and enthusiasm . Highly recommend these publications for any Vietnam Vets and particularly to those individuals deeply interested in reading about the Unit that conducted the toughest ground missions of the War!
