Eberlestock SuperSpike Duffel

This duffel is tough! The zippers are tough, the material is tough and the stitching is tough! I’m a detail oriented person, 20 years in the military will do that. During my service, I was issued an Eberlestock Halftrack 3-day pack and beat the snot out of it on multiple deployments and harsh TDYs. I just couldn’t wear it out. Fast forward to present day, I have an Eberlestock Mainframe, two batwing pouches and this duffel. It’s a simple, large pocket, easy access modular storage system that works alone or with a myriad of other configurations. The shoulder strap is comfortable and it was easy to integrate into my current setup. Worth every penny!

Bought this with the skycrane, and it is huge. You can really stuff this thing. I stuff it with sleeping bag and cloths , and with about a weeks worth of cloths and the sleeping bag there is about enough space for another two weeks worth of cloths still left. Worth noting a normal sized sleeping bag takes up about 30-35% of the overall space. Zipping it on the skycrane was a lil tricky like they say, but I found once you finally zip it on, the little brother pack inside is being just cradled in the pack not attached to anything so it just slides in and out with ease making it easy to get to everything in a snap.

I'm using this duffel with 2 batwing pouches on a tall mainframe pack. The duffel served me well this hunting season, and was regularly taken on and off my pack depending on the length of my hunts. Eberlestock products are not cheap, but it's hard to regret paying for gear that will (probably) last me a lifetime of seasonal use. Note for batwing+mainframe users: The compression straps included with the mainframe pack worked fine for my setup, but if you pack the duffel very tight (or have plans to haul an elk quarter), you might want extension straps just in case. For a duffel full of clothes or other compressible gear, the normal straps are more than enough. $70 at time of purchase.

I love the super spike duffel bag. I am in Wyoming now hunting. I am using it to keep my hunting clothes in when I'm at camp and I'm packing lightweight jacket and meat bags while hunting.

Great product. Very nice made duffle that can zipper to my J34 pack. This duffle is durable and it’s easy to notice the quality of the stitching and fabric.

Will connect to most newer Eberlestock bags and frames. Creates a lot of space when zipped into batwing setup. Love it must buy for all big game hunters

The toughest and biggest backpack I own. It's durable and should last forever. I have attached molle pouches all over the inside backboard. I ordered the super spike duffel to go with for a complete INCH or BUGOUT bag.
