Will this work to brew overnite iced coffee?

I specifically purchased this to make cold brew coffee. It works splendidly with coarse ground coffee.

I’m reading that the screen can not be replaced and it requires a coarse grind. true??

Coarse grind is best to limit the amount of sediment however I have on occasion used regular grind coffee without any problem.

Does the finish chip off in the dishwasher after repeated use? Thank you

Ours is fine but it only hits the dishwasher once in awhile . Usually it’s just rinsed out or hand washed between uses . Probably gets a dishwasher ride a couple times a month and we’ve had it about a year and it still looks new and works great . Best coffee maker ever , and we’ve literally had over a hundred different ones . I love this one , and it makes the best coffee I’ve ever made .
