Very awesome for Festool grinder.
Very awesome for Festool grinder. Unfortunately (of course), it did not come with this part. Was an accessory. Corded version, not cordless.

Thought the tread size for Milwaukee grinders were all the same

Fits Tools Using M14, NOT 5/8"-11
This item is M14 (metric) and only fits grinders that use M14.Many grinders use 5/8"-11, for which Milwaukee sells a different unit.So before you buy check the thread size on your grinder and purchase the proper FixTec Nut.

A really useful bit of kit. Now you have no excuse to use the wrong disc.
An excellent piece of kit. It has transformed the way I use an angle grinder. If, you're like me, you probably frequently use the incorrect disc on certain things, because, frankly you can't be bothered with all the faff of changing the disc over. Not anymore. This makes changing discs a 20 second task, that is incredibly easy to do. Even I can bother to do that. The fastener is a standard 14mm threaded locking disc. It is thinner when compared with other locking nuts, which is good.As other have mentioned, there is no need to overtighten it. Just screw it up so that it is firm. The spinning of the angle grinder, will keep it nice and tight.I have no idea if it would be suitable for large diameter grinders. I Use it on a 125mm, and it's brilliant. It always stays tight and secure, but remains relatively easy to unscrew when needed.Overall, this is a genuinely useful bit of kit. It's solid and well made, and I can't see any reason why it shouldn't last for many years.Recommended.I hope you found this review helpful.

Great gadget. So easy to swap discs. No vibration problems.
I bought 2. You can change or replace a disc in a matter of seconds. No more trying to remember/find where the flange key is. A bane of my life. Seems solid and well made, Low profile so it should not get in the way.I fitted and tested to both my cordless (8000rpm) and corded (11000rpm) grinder. With no difference at all in vibration levels as reported on one reviewer? Probably operator error.Just one tip. There is absolutely no need to over-tighten these or a keyed flange. Just finger tight is enough for a few reasons: The very rotation of the machine will not allow the flange to loosen. If not over tightened will allow some slip, if the disc 'digs in' avoiding the possibility of 'kick-back' and possible injury. It also makes disc removal/changing much easier!D.

Milwaukee 4932352473 Fixtec Nut, Grinder Quick Release Fix Nut
This is an absolutely amazing idea, why hasn't anyone done it before? If you've got a grinder and you need to change the disks frequently then this is a must for you.I bought three of these, one for each of my grinders. There's no need to tape your spanners to the cable or remember where you put it for your cordless grinders.

You will wish you got one years ago
Wish I had purchased one of these years ago. Everyone knows how irritating it is trying to find your grinder spanner (hint: you have lost it)This removes the issue of losing that stupid pronged spanner. Feels sturdy and makes changing blades a 10 second job.Liked it so much I purchased my grandad one for his old 240v grinder and even he was impressed (ex engineer who thinks everything pre 1990 was better)

Cant live without it!
why couldn't us British have invented this? I don't like American stuff but Milwaukee have smashed it with this. once you've tried one for your 115mm grinder you'll want one for your 230mm grinder & while your buying that get another for your sons birthday, he'll thank you forever & stop trying to nick yours lol. so quick, easy, never comes loose. perfect item, you'll be glad you took my advise. P.S. my son was literally over the moon with his after he'd seen mine, he never stops thanking me it, now that's a good son! Shoulda sold it & made a profit lol.
