GNC Natural Brand Super Digestive Enzymes, Supports Protein, Carbohydrate and Fat Digestion, 240 Capsules

These are easy to take and haven't caused any discomfort in digestion. I use them primarily in aiding in the digestion of protein shakes that are high in protein.

I find these digestives to work better than any other brand, and this has been the case for years. I've tried the NOW brand tablets, NOW brand HCl capsules, and Source Naturals enzymes and the GNC Super Digestives are still my favorite. One point to note is that I find that I have to be EXTREMELY careful when drinking beer with these. It also affects other types of alcohol, however beer is hands down the worst of all the types. Apparently these super enzymes help me super digest alcohol, and I can get fall-down drunk from just a few beers when normally I would barely feel a buzz. I was lucky enough to discover this at home instead of out at a bar, so I make sure to wait a few hours after eating if I know I'm going to have some drinks and/or skip the digestives for the meal I eat before drinking. Other than that, these work well and help me better digest meals. I take them after eating as directed, and if I know I'm probably going to overindulge I'll take one at the beginning of the meal and the end of the meal just to be on the safe side. Based on my personal experience I would definitely recommend these.

I am so blessed to have come across reviews here on Amazon that led me to purchase these. I have suffered from gastric issues specifically GERD for the last 16 years and have used most of the prescription and over the counter products, i.e., Prilosec. Nexium, Zantac, even other expensive Pre and probiotic doctor formulated products to help my digestion. I have undergone a few Endoscopies due to herniated Oesophaegus that caused me to chock on food especially meat. Also, I couldn't eat green salad or high fiber foods at night due acid reflux. In 3 days of taking these Super Digestive Enzymes I literally was in shock. I felt so much better and started sleeping better. Amazingly, I worked as a Store Manager for GNC and have always used and trusted their products. I even visited their manufacturing pant in South Carolina but had never used this particular product. Like I said, I thank those who left their honest review that allowed me to make an informed decision, and a great one I might add. Please give this product a chance. Hopefully they never change the formulation.

& you get more for your money on Amazon with this retailer then you would at GNC. I've purchased this item from GNC stores for 20 years. Never this many for this low a price - well worth it! Your digestive system will thank you!
