I bought this because I wanted to start making my own drinks to take to work instead of buying everyday. I work in a busy kitchen so I needed something that insulated well and kept the drink cold long enough for "in-between" tasks sips. I first used it when I was home and put ice with my drink. I fell asleep and completely forgot about it. About three hours or so later I woke up and the ice hadn't even melted and the drink was still REALLY cold. I was shocked considering it didn't have the top on it. Then again the next day I poured coke and ice into it and feel asleep. Must've been around 11pm and I woke up at 4 am to find that the ice hadn't melted( again, the top was off). Then I picked it up with the ice and coke still in it and said I was going to wash it at work. I forgot it in my locker and 8 hours later....THE ICE HADN'T MELTED!!. I ordered the bottle version of it as well because this worked so well. So if you're looking for a good insulated cup/bottle... this is the brand/type to buy. Not to mention it is easy to clean. It's not leak proof as the top has an opening you can't cover or close...but I bought the bottle for this reason as well.

This cup does exactly what it’s supposed to do! I literally left ice in the cup from the noon time when I had my iced coffee to overnight I forgot about it and when I went to clean the cup the next morning the ice was still very much there?m! Drinking from the stainless steel straw is perfect on a hot summers day! I think it’s a great buy!

I have been using this product for sometime now and no complains at all.

When they say hand wash only, they mean it. I regret the choice to put this into the dishwasher, because I love this mug! Ice lasts nearly as long in this mug, as my Yeti. Easy to grip with my smaller hand size, as well. Please HAND WASH ONLY!
