Cat Collar, Magical Unicorns (Color Will Vary)

We have indoor cats who are chipped. Even so, we like to keep them collared, just in case they ever get out, as a visual clue that they are not outdoor cats. Beastie Bands collars are the ONLY brand of collar we ever buy for our cats. They are GREAT! They are very flexible, soft and stretchy, so very comfortable on the cats. They are super lightweight, and bend and stretch with the cats, but still stay on fairly securely. Our cats wear these with their Seresto flea collars, and the Beastie Band is soft and flexible over their flea collars, and doesn't obstruct the function of the flea collars. These can pull off over the cat's heads relatively easily. I suppose you could tighten them enough so they won't, but we like them to be looser and comfortable. Sometimes the cats slip out of them, but that happens quite rarely, maybe once or twice a year if that. And I like knowing they can slide off, in the event they do get caught on something. But they don't actively try to remove them because they are so comfortable. They have a metal grommet for an easy spot to hook an ID tag. And the velcro that holds them on is strong, and allows for easy fitting around the neck. A Beastie Band collar lasts our cats at least a couple of years. After about a couple years, they do start to get worn from normal cat scratching behavior, since they are so soft and pliable. But they are affordable enough to replace, and they have so many adorable designs that we don't mind freshening up their look when the time comes. EXCELLENT CAT COLLAR! Beastie Bands all the way!

I’ve been using this with my cats for a few weeks. First- the Velcro is much too long. I ended up cutting off 80% of the Velcro. My three cats are in the collars and none of them have took them off despite cutting it down and being fairly active (and the youngest being a kitten!). This allows the collar to function more like a breakaway collar- if there’s tension the Velcro will break. While stretchy collars do provide some safety, if cats get quickly entangled the stretch may not be sufficient as they may not have enough time to get their heads out.Otherwise these are very comfortable collars. They seem to barely notice them on. Make sure the collar is snug- I put it a little too lose the first time and my kitten got her mouth stuck on it. Since then I’ve put it on more snug and had no issues.

Love these collars on my cats. Feel much safer with the velcro and stretch these have over the traditional buckle safety collar. They collars do keep the hair shorter where the collar rests, but unlike a traditional collar it doesn't remove all the fun and leave bare skin. Love these and after 2 years bought my kitties new ones since the inside was starting to fray.

I got this for my almost year old kitten. She gets every collar off. I thought this was going to be a life saver. No it wasn’t 2 hrs and it was off. It’s not lost yet so I guess I’ll keep putting it back on until she is able to get it right off. Colors may vary. I got a tealish blue. It’s cute. It reminds me of wetsuit material with a big Velcro strip inside.

I’ve used Beastie Bands for years since after a leather collar caused fur to come off my cat’s neck. My vet even sold them in his office. They come in many beautiful colors and patterns. My cat never lost one off her neck but I knew if she got caught on a fence it would slip off and not choke her.

Love these collars because they don’t get lost as often as other brands ... wish they had more reflective on them though .... to keep kitty’s safe if they out at night ... mine haven’t learned to come in when tha lights go on go figure ....I added and it goes ;)

I love Beastie Bands collars for one of my cats- I have no issue with the quality of the collar itself. What was a bummer was that the Magical Unicorns color came on a field of blue, rather than red as pictured. The blue is cute and we kept it, but I have two nearly identical black cats and had just ordered the other one a new custom blue collar, and since they have similar blue collars now they're a lot harder for folks who don't know them to tell apart.

I have an outdoor rescue cat and he can wriggle out of ANY collar in less than 24 hours. I was about to give up hope after I had spent $$$ by buying new collars and tags all the time. I started looking at online forums for people who had similar problems and I found someone recommend Beastie Bands. I found them on Amazon and was a little concerned with the higher price, but figured this would be my last attempt to get my cat to keep a collar on. A month later.... his collar is still on! Seriously... this guy was able to get out of every previous collar in less than a day. I am so happy with the Beastie Bands collar and come on... they come in the most fun prints!
