The Cold of Summer: Sequel to The First Ethereal: 2 (The Ethereal World Series)

I could hardly put this book down and sped through it. I loved the first bookThe Ethereal and was excited to see what happened next. The premise of trying to preserve vibrations and energy is so very simple on one level and yet allows for complexities enough to make a twisty-turny plot. The characters, including the animals, are really brought to life, and that's what kept me turning the pages until i reached the end.

Ever since I read the first book, The First Ethereal, I’ve been desperate for a sequel! Being able to dive into the new age of Ethereal, the challenges it faces and more surprising twists and turns, was an absolute treat. And the underlying message of the negative impact humanity is having on earth isn’t lost either.

Another page turner which brings back old friends & continues the themes of The First Ethereal with some surprising twists & turns along the way. Great read again!!

I loved this sequel to The First Ethereal. A breathless race to save a peaceful world from the evil trying to consume it, full of twists and turns. Beautifully written and impossible to put down.

The Cold Of Summer is the second book in the Ethereal series and I was lucky enough to have an advanced reader copy. I absolutely loved The First Ethereal, so this one had a lot to live up to. It did not disappoint in any way, again I sped through it incredibly quickly because I was gripped from the very beginning.After the first book I was so attached to the characters they feel like old friends especially as I share so many of their ethics and principles, and it was great to be back in their world.There was tension, danger and drama in this race against time, there was laughter and tears on my part as I so wanted 'my friends' to triumph and save their utopian society.This was the novel I need to escape the turbulent times we are experiencing and I enjoyed every minute of this fast moving, emersive story.More please E. I really loved this sequel! Just as enthralling as The First Ethereal. I'd already fallen in love with the characters and, sharing a lot of their values, I resonated with them at a soul level,I literally read this book inside a few days. With the fast-moving plot, I couldn't put it down as i just had to kniw what happened next!If you love books where the magical worlds & the mundane worlds intertwine, this book is for you! Thank you for some a beautiful book!

Everyone who loved The First Ethereal will enjoy this sequel, where we find out what happened next to Storm, Lilly and the others. More excitement and magic, but also danger and drama!

I really loved this sequel! Just as captivating as The First Ethereal. I'd already become emotionally connected to the characters and, sharing a lot of their values, was willing them to triumph.E.L.Williams explores the concept of different 'worlds' or 'realms' in a fascinating but familiar way, and is highly descriptive in her writing style which brings the characters and scenes into full colour and clarity.It kept me wanting to read the next chapter...and the next....It ended up being my binge-read book. Exciting plot, fast-moving as always and had me hooked until the very end.It was a lovely bit of escapism and just what I needed.
