Beautiful!
Exactly what I was looking for and made exceptionally well! The pictures don't do the brass justice. Absolutely perfect!

Very high quality.
Exactly as advertised. My issue was installation, not the fault of the product. I was trying to make a 3 piece hiking staff out of my one long one. But the product is too-notch

Soft soft brass
This brass is oddly soft it seems like, strips easily if over tightened by accident, had to drill out and reset new hardware wasting a set. Not thrilled for my applications.

Cane Connectors Good
I have not used them yet, however I was impressed by them. They seem to be well made and have a good finish. I was worried that they would be flimsy and not support any weight. That is not the case, they look to be adequate foe intended use.

It worked for me but it was challenging
My daughter's bo staff for Karate was too long to fit comfortably in our car, so I wanted to split it in two and use one of these doohickies to join the halves. My challenge was drilling the hole in the exact center, which a lathe would be good for if I had one, but with my drill press it was a major pain. Tried it twice before giving up.Instead of drilling the exact right size hole, what I ended up doing was drilling a hole too big then using epoxy and hand centering the connector. It worked for me and the results look great, but it would be a lot easier if you have a lathe or if you're better at shooting a drill into the exact center of a tapered dowel.

EXCELLENT COUPLER!
I make hiking sticks for Guides in the Wet Mountains of Colorado.I made a Walking Stick for a Missionary friend of ours who went on a Pilgrimage between Spain and France! In order for him to take his Stick on the plane to travel none of the three pieces could be longer than 19”!I had to use two of the couplers and screw the couplers apart, not unscrew a coupler and wooden threaded end of one stick!I ONLY order couplers from this dealer! They are mailed out that day or the next, are of excellent quality and are of the proper thread width needed. The owner also Wraps each one separately and mails excellent instructions and contact information with each coupler if you need help! The stick that was used on the pilgrimage worked great and still has no wabble !
