I've had a few chillys products and they really are worth the price. Little stiff for the first few drinks but then it works really well. Loses one star for not been fully leakproof, you can't throw it in your back with any confidence like some competitors.

Absolutely not leak proof. Who wants to pay almost £40 for a flask that doesn’t work? Amazon’s handling of a refund for this was genuinely dreadful. Overall, avoid.

Purchased directly from Chillys and not Amazon.I am a series one owner which has been a workhorse of a travel cup, but my partner bought me a series 2 and I’m massively disappointed. Main criticism of S1 was the non-closely drinking spout, which meant it always had to be upright, but the S2, despite having a closely spout (that cannot be closed with drinks over 60 degrees!!) the cup leaks badly from the main seal (see video).Furthermore, a design flaw is that the breather hole at the top of the drinking spout vents hot steam directly into your eyes as you take a sip.I’m amazed Chilly’s have got this so wrong. Entirely style over substance.

Great looking but the worst travel mug I have ever owned as it leaks everywhere just carefully picking it up and carrying it! So disappointed other Chilly products I have are great. It is not useable so will be asking for a refund.

I've used the Chilly's water bottles for years and absolutely love them, so was really excited to try this coffee cup.However, my first impressions are that it just doesn't live up to the bottles that Chilly's are so well known for. The flask itself is beautiful - its vibrant and looks really classy so on that front it lives up to it's reputation. But the flask itself doesn't feel practical for use:1) The drinking hole is really small and doesn't feel very practical for drinking incredibly hot drinks from. This flask keeps your drink super hot, so if you're travelling with your cup your likely to burn your mouth drinking it through this hole.2) he twist function is really stiff to open the drinking hole. The instructions say it will loosen up but I haven't found this to be the case yet.3) The flask leaks. Not loads, but liquid definitely drips out which isn't great if you're using this to transport soup or even if you want to put your tea / coffee in your bag. If you can't chuck this in your bag for later then there really isn't any reason to need to keep the liquid so hot - so you may as well just use a Keep Cup.4) There are very specific instructions on how hot drinks can be inside the container. if the liquid is over 60 degrees then you need to keep the steam hole open. I understand why this needs to happen but doesn't feel very practical. Firstly, it means you can't transport a really hot drink with you. And second, I have no idea how hot my drinks are so really don't know if it's safe to close the lid or not.Overall, I think this is a beautiful cup but the design needs some work.
