This was our first ever furniture purchase from Amazon, so we were very nervous about the quality of the product. What we received was very much past our expectations for the sale price. A couple of notes if you are considering these chairs. First, make sure to follow the directions when you put them together, they do not come assembled. It is pretty easy to put together though. Second is that the wood is a littler darker then it looks online, so make sure that it will blend in with your design style. Overall the sturdiness, the finish, the fact that the seat rotates makes them a great choice for us. The only thing I would change is that the feet would be a much wider foot and not the pointed plastic tips that are included.

These bar stools are absolutely beautiful. The went together fairly easily and are very sturdy. I love how they fit under my counter and I am still able to swivel without hitting it. Just the mid-century modern feel I was going for. The seat color is a very, very dark brown almost black which is what I wanted. Seats padding is a little stiff, but overall comfortable enough. The really nice thing is the customer service. One of the legs had a bubble in the finish. I reached out to the manufacturer and they promptly sent me a replacement.

This counter height chair matches our kitchen table chairs and I wanted a swivel seat and fairly small footprint. The low backrest is a nice element too. So I ordered 2. It was easy to assemble. I used the supplied allen wrench on the first one and it wasn't too bad. I used a wratchet driver (see photo) for the 2nd one and finished in about 1/4 the time. I needed slight leveling adjustments on the feet and this chair is designed to do that easily with the supplied parts. My only complaint is the padding on the seat is not supportive foam. It's better than sitting directly on wood. But this is a nice chair otherwise and decent memory foam would get it 5/5 stars.

Gorgeous chairs with a mid century modern (mcm) style. My home is 80% real mcm collected over the years. I couldn’t find the real deal in barstools so I spent a lot of time finding ones that would fit it, but didn’t look cheap. I actually bought some from another company and had to return because they were so cheaply made that the screw went right through to the pad. So, I ordered these with kind of low expectations. But wow - look how great they look! I’m so happy with these barstools. I put them together myself. I’m 63, with severe rheumatoid arthritis and also 96 pounds, so not a whole lot of manual or physical strength, and had no problem getting 2 of them put together in maybe 15 mins each. One gave me quite a bit of trouble where the ring attaches at the bottom though - so much so I almost returned that one. Instead I just soldiered on and used a hammer to get that one screw in. The joke is that only a light weighted person should use that one! Kidding aside, I think these look really good. I ended up with the dark gray seat mainly because only that one and the black one were available in 2 days, but now that I see it, it’s the perfect masculine touch to my house which tends to lean more feminine in style. But not as harsh as the black seat would be. One thing that really bothers me is that I needed 3 of them, and if you selected the option to get 3, you saved about $20 per chair. The problem is, you couldn’t get the 2-day delivery. So I was forced to get the option with 1 chair, then had to pick 3 as my amount, so I paid full price on each one. I didn’t think that was right. Either you have the chairs in stock or not. Anyways, that’s just a warning for anyone who needs a few, but quickly. I hope this review was helpful! I wanted to especially reach out to people who loved the MCM aesthetic, and wondered how these would look. I am SO happy with how they turned out. I just wished I had ordered them sooner so I wasn’t in a time crunch to get on 2 days. Left thing - how could I NOT love chairs with the same name as mine (albeit different spelling). They were meant to be 🙂

I am so happy with my purchase. As a matter of fact, I loved it so much that I bought it twice, 3 of them in total. This purchase exceeded my expectations, and I am delighted with every aspect of these stools.

These chairs are beautiful, however they have a lot of scratches or exposed wood. Whoever is doing quality control is an epic failure. This is not due to shipping. It is obvious that it was shipped that way. I ordered 4 and returned 3 because of that issue. I will try again with a new order because they really look good at my counter. Customer service is non existence. They never returned my call. I would have loved to just replace the individual pieces that were defective instead of returning everything but they did not leave me a choice in the matter. I will not buy anything else from them other than replacing these chairs. If you like them try another company. Update: I sent for two more chairs and 4 out of the 8 legs were sub par. I reached out to customer service again. I will let you know what the result is. Update#2: I have sent pics to the company via email. Eventhough they are responding to the email they are saying that they are not getting the pics that you see here. I requested a barcode to return the stools but they have only allowed me to return them at my expense. They are stalling until my 30 days return window is closed. I am reaching out to Amazon to get this over with.
