I've been wanting to try this forever. I never see the BUILT Puff bar options in store. I really didnt want to buy a case, but recently I decided to splurge. Glad I did! I already want more, and I hope they have more flavors actually available soon. Many are unavailable :(I wanted to try them because I love chocolate covered marshmallow. I really prefer it when the marshmallow is firm and kinda chewy rather than soft. I joke that I like stale marshmallow. But man, when I get those egg cartons at Easter time that are filled with chocolate covered egg shape marshmallows, there is always a couple of "tough" ones in the bunch, and THAT is what I like. Same goes for other holiday offerings of this ilk.So I bit into this and was in heaven. It has that firm, dense chew, that tough marshmallow texture that I yearn for. If these were extra soft, I wouldnt be as impressed.This is very much actual marshmallow, and I am surprised that more "protein" bars dont utilize it. Gelatin has protein. I have made my own marshmallows before, so I may get back to that. For best utilized protein in form of collagen, we want hydrolyzed, but hydrolyzed doesnt "gel", hence we want non-hydrolyzed collagen, or "gelatin". This uses both, so both of both worlds. Also whey protein, but manages to not have a whey protein taste.The outer chocolate is ok. It isnt delicious, more of a vessel for carrying the marshmallow. Very basic "chocolate".Definitely more of a candy vibe. Never would think this was a protein bar,Very pricy though. These are small bars, maybe 4-5 bites max. I dont rate on price though--we can all see price, have different budgets, needs, preferences, and for me.. desires. lol. I just really wanted to try it, and now that I know that it is what I want texture wise, I will likely buy more. Hope to see a sale, coupon, or subscribe and save offer soon.BTW, the option I bought is coconut, and it has a light coconut flavor. I also tried these upon delivery, which was a very cold day. Not sure if the marshmallow gets softer (hope not), but if it does, then I know to enjoy these direct from fridge.

Built Puffs are one of my favorite protein bars as they taste like candy bars and also have great macros. I had only tried the brownie and coconut flavors before this and wanted to try more flavors without having to buy a whole box of each flavor. All of the flavors are very tasty with great chocolate coatings and the fluffy interior that these bars are known for. The cookie dough bar was my favorite and I really enjoyed the the cookie dough chunks.These bars are a little on the pricey side for a snack (but pretty standard for a protein bar) and are a blend of both whey and collagen protein. Collagen is good for skin, hair, etc. but is inferior compared to whey for muscle building. Since the protein blend is not broken down (ratio of collagen to whey in their formula) I would not advise for one to rely on this product to be a large contributor to their daily protein intake. Regardless, it is a tasty snack that is filling and with good ingredients. I would recommend this product and brand.

The media could not be loaded. These bars are truly great, and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t love marshmallows. The cookie dough flavor is delicious, the strawberries and cream is even better. The flavor tastes real, authentic, and the texture isn’t weird or too chewy. The ingredients are pretty clean, and for a snack/bar the amount of protein is good. They even have good melt resistance, I filmed this thinking it would be melted and it wasn’t at all. Definitely buy these, they’ll save your sweet tooth!

These are the best protein bars I’ve ever tasted! If you like chocolate covered marshmallows, you’ll definitely love these! Not only do they taste good but they serve a good purpose instead of candy bars. Also shipping was expected to be 2 weeks out and they came in not even 5 days later! Super fast!

I like the texture, the coconut taste and light weight of these protein bars. They're easy to take along in a purse or backpack, and even if they get smooshed, they remain intact rather than a packet of crumbs. A little too sweet, hence 4 stars instead of 5.

My wife loves these. They have lots of protein and are filling. They taste good as well.

Amazing flavor, I'm in awe how well they've recreated the taste of Mounds and/or Almond Joy (minus the almond). As many of reviews have commented, the texture is very fluffy like a marshmallow. Very interesting actually. I'm a big into texture, meaning if I don't like the texture of something I won't eat it, no matter how good the flavor is. In this case, the fluffy texture is actually quite enjoyable.One final thought: these are not some huge 350 calorie bar with 30+ grams of protein; Instead, they're on the small side with only 140 calories and 17 g of protein. I consider that a plus, as the other ones are just too big for the average person and probably do more harm than good (think about 'portion control'). This is the perfect amount of both calories and protein.

These taste AMAZING. There is no weird protein aftertaste. It’s almost hard to believe these are protein packed with how good they taste. It’s a great, healthier alternative to a candy bar!The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price. They are extremely pricey for the quantity. They are unfortunately not something I can add to my weekly grocery list; simply due to the price.
