12 Survivors Off-Grid Survival Stove (TS74000)

Like everything in life it's a compromise the weight on my scale is 10 1/8 ounces without the grill bars 13 1/2 with the grill bars, the dimension across the top are 4 1/8 inches so the nesting cups won't work with out the grate. The fire burned with no problem with a pot on top (no grill bars) . The grate has no holes so embers for the most part stay there. There is plenty of air flow for the fire. It's easy to set up a decent size compared to the little Chinese folding stoves about on par with the ikea hobo stove as far as volume goes . So it 's a little heavy but the easy setup and durability of the thicker metal is the trade off.

There's so much great about this little stove.I make soup and coffee on it. But if I want a burger I put my little emergency sterno holder inside it. Which moves the 3 coals nearer the top, and leaves room for tinder undetneath.Tinder took off...lit the coals, then I put my own grill because its lighter for my backpack ( but you don't have to. Then grill that burger ( there was a hotdog to...but I got hungry and ate that before I could take a pic : ) and it worked great.Yummy burger, Perfectly cooked! Charred outside, little pink inside!Wait, but there's more! When I just want to use my tiny sterno holder, which doesn't give too much heat, I can use this stove as my wind screen to hold the heat in, and keep out the wind!Now...if I could only cook a mini brownie in it!

It's just as the title states. The package arrived with no packing material in the box, the product looks as if someone ripped it open then threw it back in the shipping box (I guess they had second thoughts about theft because all of the parts were accounted for), and the icing on the cake is that the rod for one of the hinges keeps falling out. I'll probably DIY it to working order but this was a major bummer. When everything is assembled its very wobbly. I don't know if that's by design or not but it bothers me. Whether this will hold up during my backpacking trips, who knows.Pros- large cook top can support bigger pans- hinged for fast and easy set up/storage- not overly complicated with extra parts that you don't needCons- from my experience, shipping quality is hit or miss- quality control leaves something to be desired since mine arrived broken- seems a bit overpriced for what you get

Awesome little stove, easy to add more fuel and the grill rack makes it great for burgers or dogs. Can be a little tricky getting the bottom coal tray in the slots when setting it up.

Its small, but kind of heavy, I think its overpriced, but I like it.

Good item but expensive for what it is.

Easy to use and fits in a pocket.

I love it. Just wish the grill was big enough for a fat steak. Good thing I have a mess kit. Lol.
