Easy to use as long as it is kept in line with a straight line. Gives a nice finish.

A ripper
Certainly cuts a nice edge to a lawn. Buy the higher spec battery as it gives it umph. Start on highest setting and adjust as you go. Word of warning check blade is located correctly and tighten the bolt. It will bectricl and error to get straight lines and not clip concrete edges of path.Good bit of kit and usual German build and reliability.

Great bit of kit for lawn enthusiasts
It has taken all the backbreaking work out of edging around my lawn ,into my 70s now and this was a backbreaking job made easy by this bit of kit. It seems good quality although expensive. The battery life lasts about 45 minutes it is not too heavy to use, and I’m very pleased. If only had found this 10 years ago.

Nice clean edges
Takes a bit of practice but its worth it. Hard to master curves but it is possible.

Had it for three months and the wheel and height adjuster assembly has dropped off.
Very disappointed. Although the blade is robust the wheel and height adjuster isn't which is very lightweight and flimsy. The edger can only deal with very level existing well trimmed edges and it is incapable of dealing with curved edges. The wheel and height adjuster has collapsed and dropped off. I will be reverting to my manual lawn edgers.

Worth the money
Makes lawn edging so easy. Well made, robust, cuts small roots too. Should have bought ages ago. Bought a twin pack battery charger with it.

People, the way it works of removing all the grass beside all stone edges is giving you amazing pleasure. The Trimmer removes enough space to give your garden a Straight line besides all your edges.If you have a trimmer that works on petrol is also good but for a battery trimmer it is much better for us because of the reduced noise.It is worth it

Funktioniert besser als gedacht
Kann zur Haltbarkeit noch nicht viel sagen, aber ich denke das man das Messer öfters tauschen muß, aber bei der Arbeitserleichterung ist es das Wert!Das Gerät ist m.M.n. günstig und funktioniert ganz ausgezeichnet! Nur beim ersten mal muß man (logischerweise) öfters mal drüber, danach ist alles in einem Zug sauber, eine ganz tolle Erfindung die ordentlich viel Zeit spart.
